Thanks, all! I'll still can't post from my computer for some reason, so hopefully these images are okay in quality directly from a phone. The trick to sculpting the head was to glue a bit of kibble (shaped like a fez) on top of the head, and then adding epoxy around it and just enough to cover it. The hair was sculpted separately after that. |

the pics are ok, but not as crisp on my cp as before. i used to work with a master jeweler who was a photographer as well. not just micro jewelry pics, but also sporting events and other pro. type stuff for hire. it must have been i-phone 4 or 5 iirc, but he said the pic quality was so good he switched from his 1k camera for taking high res micro pics. if you have an i-phone you might look into some dedicated lighting , tripod, or maybe an app. i don't use a phone for pics so can't be much help. i'm on my 3rd kodak 10mp easy something or other. they eat batteries but for the little bit of pics i do it isn't terrible. regardless i'm very glad to see you posting in crit again! |
