i know there are custom gb's i haven't seen yet! and i know there are some i'd like to see again!!

what are you using for proton packs? other gear??

i'm not sure i'll be able to get the new 1:18 ecto1, but lets see yours !

:) anyone dumping a lesser ecto1 cheep because you got the new one? pm me :)

i aint afraid of no ghosts? lets see your ghosts! bonus points for 1:18 devil dogs and marshmellow men.

The GB team is a group I've wanted to add to my verse for a while. I figure I have The Monster Squad and I have the Mystery Inc Gang, why not the GBs? I have a formula I want to use I just don't have the $ to buy the parts right now.

I did pick up the new Ecto-1 and it is awesome.

hopefully we can get some people to show and tell :) i had some joe backpacks and various bits in a baggy .now i have an idea for using some "vinyl" statue/static figure packs. i don't have a plan for figures yet though. none of the me joe figures i have look bulky enough. i might try and sculpt over all 4 so they start with similar construction. i'll post pics of the packs if they work out.

so you have an old too small ecto1 with holes in the floor .man you'd have to pay me to take that off your hands :)

are your packs playmobile? can you give their measurements lxw?

i think i came up with 1 1/2" x 3/4" for our scale. or maybe that is what i came up with when i measured the static figures pack.

The playmobil packs don’t fit directly. These are joe backpacks (I want to say the flat part of the ROC Heavy Duty pack) with the playmobil important bits glued on. I can take a closer pic in a few days when I’m home.

i got this .99c lot for the aliens and slimer mostly. i thought the gb guy was a loyal subjects. i was surprised it didn't have any articulation. so i had to track it down. it is a lootcrate exclusive, but i saw a few that said sdcc so maybe not exclusive to lc. the slimer isn't the one it comes with instead it is from the mini line. i like the mini as it fits in my "lab specimen tube".

i passed on this lot the first time i saw it mostly because i have those aliens already. i had to pull the trigger though and i'm glad i did.

the lootcrate figure is solid but i hope the pack boils and pops. if not it will be lots of dremel work. the other night i reached out to a seller on ebay and made a deal on 3 more of them. all complete with the correct slimer. i don't have them in hand

they range in price on ebay starting at about $10 each shipped. i didn't make an best offer on them,but i did negotiate for much reduced shipping than they listed. i will report here with the ins and outs of the packs.

This is essentially how I want to do my GB team. It's one of the best I've seen. I have two of the proton packs from Playmobile and was thinking of doing exactly what you said, put them on the frame of a HD pack. In the movie they are on Alice pack frames so it makes sense and works.

well those vinyl statues won't boil and pop. they got bendable but the glue won't release. i got them chopped up but i'll need to grind the piece still attached since i cut with a lot room to spare. in the past i have ruined too many parts with a wandering razor knif. so im happy to grind on them and be safe. i'll try and get some pics soon.

i just saw these. way too pricey for me. says 1:16 and 4.5" (but i wonder if that includes the base).

i guess if the heads and packs could be used it might be cheaper than casts. more work though!
