This Adventure Team Research and Support Vehicle has been a looong time coming. Updating my team finally got me in gear to do this thing. Its been their ride since I printed a logo and Xyroned it on the cab. Now it has the full treatment. New waterslide decals, detailed interior, 347 coats of yellow paint, and a new crane arm. I designed and printed the crane arm with an articulated joint and extendable boom. And it still fits inside of the trailer when its in the mobile form. Printed vent cover replace the gun pod as well.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Joe Colton gets a personal jeep with trailer. Complete repaint of the PTE jeep from Click n Play on Amazon. A couple motorcycles and a cheap yard sale airboat fill out the fleet.ImageImageImageImageImageImage

The airboat has a Tree House Kids logo on the bottom. I thought it looked like one of the Wal-Mart sets or the outdoor sets you can get from Bass Pro. I grabbed it at a yard sale since it was 1/18th scale, figured I would find some purpose for it. It was originally a light OD green with the gray seat and engine.

Could be an interesting source for base vehicles.

What an awesome set! You must have a lot of patience to paint all that yellow.

Thanks, there was a time I cared for nothing before ARAH but the Adventure Team stuff is a great idea and an excellent way to keep GI Joe on the shelves when popular opinion shifts against military toys.

"Just one more coat........"

I discovered on the jeep set it was best to spray them with a base of Krylon yellow before brushing on my AT yellow. (Apple Barrel King's Gold, btw)

That's one reason I stick to 1/18th toys. I do very few vehicle customs and I can only think of a couple BIIIIG vehicles I have worked on. I have a lot in mind but I get overwhelmed before I start. This has been on my to-do list for a while and the vehicle itself took very little modifying.

And get them dirty?!?!?!? :rotfl:  I do have some decent spots for photos and maybe the kiddos would like to help me haul this stuff outside.
