From the personal files of Destro, M.A.R.S. owner and intergalactic weapons czar: "The specialized Durosteel Grenadiers code-named "Nullifiers" are my pride and joy. They carry out all of the field testing for my experimental weapons division and are walking weapons platforms on battlefields across the galaxy. Their highly advanced, powered battle armor is coated with a prismatic enamel that partially dissipates the destructive effects of any directed energy weapons they are hit with enabling them to stride across the battlefiield carrying heavy weapons without fear, a highly demoralizing sight for enemy troops I can assure you. Two of the experimental weapons currently being tested by my Nullifiers are highly advanced particle beam cannons and the revolutionary "Yamato"-class wave motion gun. Both of these weapons are unlike anything before seen in this galaxy and will be highly lucrative for M.A.R.S. once their testing is complete and they go into full-scale production..." As always...top notch worksmanship...the figures look production Can't say I'm a fan of the head this time...I know they're all "durosteel grenadiers" and might have similar headgear...but I think they'd have looked better if you made their masks a bit more like the ARAH or Spytroops mask...just somthing with slats or whatever you want to call that grill looking thing on their face. weapons look neat...but I think they're big enough to be called absurdly large...Even with repulsor lifts and inertial dampners...I think they're out of scale...even if they do look cool. |

Out of scale. Geesh, did you read they have power armor. Very nice Spectre, this kind of opens some doors for me by way of knowing what your into. ![]() |

Yamato-class wave motion gun? Yea I used to like that cartoon myself, I'll have to pick up the DVD's when DragonCon comes back around. what was the name of that show again? Nice work though, your WMG looks alot like the one on the cartoon. Did you use a Storm trooper for the IG Nullifier? |

I like theis much better than the Grenadier, the red really works well here, maybe it is the placement? I still can't get into the helmet though, it screams darth at me. Still great concept, good execution, love the 'verse and your continuity. |

Yeah, I'm seeing a trio of 'Darth Scorches' here. I agree they need the mask grilles to work as Nullifiers, SW or not. And the weapons would look much better with DarkTrooper sized guys. Every part's a nice piece, but they don't come together quite as well as the regular Grenadiers in the other thread. |

I think these are perfect. When I first saw them I was wishing you'd made them IGs. Then I saw your version of the IGs and then these totally work as your Nullifers. Well Maybe Annihilators would have been better as far as categorizing them goes, but it still works for your purposes as is. These are your super IGs. Kind of like the difference between a Crimson Guard and a Crimson Guard Immortal or Headhunter and a Headhunter Stormtrooper. Great job on both of them. |

Mixed bag of reactions, can't win them all ![]() The weapons are experimental, when testing is done and they go into production, they will be more compact. The Nullifiers wear powered armor which allows them to carry oversized loads without much effort (kinda like how Pit Droids can carry items many times their size) My "regular" Grenadiers are coming (probably February), I just need some heads cast for under their helmets before I can do them up ![]() I went with the McVader heads here and with the DG Pilots simply because they just look evil. Plus, M.A.R.S. has been around a VERY long time and may just have had a hand in the initial design of a much older type of armor that Palpatine used as an inspiration for Vader's look.... ![]() |
