this is another one that needs to be viewed on a larger screen. truly stunning shading lines. i've always had trouble drawing hands holding items, so am jealous of how easy you seem to do it! the gun hand here is especially well done. |

Thanks. The trick for drawing hands, for me, is not to draw the fingers. Instead I draw the Dorito-shaped air wedges between the fingers. Of course, this drawing doesn't have any fingers splayed, but that's my approach. |

I kind of take the similar approach to puzzles. If I am having trouble, I look at it upside down, so that my mind is seeing certain shapes, not things I immediatley recognize. This way you look for a new shape/line/color instead of the familiar thing. |
