Ok, so I couldn`t stand the hands, the sideways elbow and the Vest that didn`t fit right. Took a little work but now i`m happy. For the hands, I replaced the hands at the wrist with a set from an extra Snake eyes and resculpted the pads to the hands to match the original. Now he doesn`t look as goofy, I also seperated the vest from the belt to look more natural and slimmed them down for a much better fit. The elbow I cut off and repositioned so it didn`t look so freaky (really easy fix!). Overall, I think this vastly improves on this figure and makes him much more acceptable. Only took about 45 minutes total for sculpting, painting, mods etc. Ok, enough talking, now for pics!

It looks great. The rescuplting on the hands looks factory. The only thing I don't like is the reposing on the wrists. The Viper's wrists give him the most natural looking two handed grip of any 1/18 scale figure I've ever seen. I suppose that's really just a matter of opinion, though. All the work you did on it looks great.

If it ain't broke, take it apart and lose some of the pieces. Then, it'll be a custom.

Holy crap! You fixed everything that was wrong with Hasbro's version and it's now a GREAT army builder looking figure.

looks perfect but that's what we always get from you. Now we just need those lower arms cast and given out to everyone with Vipers.

Wow, not a common or popular opinion today! I'm no fan of them, but I don't mind them, which puts me in a very small minority.

I can agree that the Viper's poofter wrist posing does make him look pretty dang cool in one particular pose. But looking good in one pose isn't a quality that's found in action figures, but rather in McF statuary.

So, if the Hasbro sculptor had bothered to take his head out of his ass and look across the aisle at what the SW sculptors were doing at pretty much the exact same time he was crapping out the Viper, he would have seen the Cmdr Gree ball-joint wrists that would have made *everyone* happy here.

And CC, I'm still not quite sold on the entirety of the Viper as you've fixed him (as this really should have had a removeable helmet with a Trooper head underneath, and the legs and torso are sill much too lanky), but you have indeed made it into something I would have tolerated and bought at least 5 of. I'm definately gonna copy what you did to the vest on the one Viper I bought (mostly just so I could have justification for [LASER BLAST] about it so much).
