So no help from anyone else??

I noticed the helmet- that's what really rocked about it. If he's a Trooper why not go white with red accents?

Very nice work, especially the helmet.

I'd go with some flat paints, and maybe do some battle damage to the armor. Give it more of a look of armor gathered up off casualties on a battlefield.

I agree about the use of flat paints, then you could clearcoat what bits you want to be shiny. Excellent take on the figure. It's nice to see variety amongst Imps.

All good ideas, but here's the thing, I'm sick of the color white -thus the red main body.
White is thick and dosen't go on well and makes me a bit crazed :shifty:

Plus in my verse all of the" troops" are Mando based and are freelance and work for the higest bidded be that Darth Venomus ( Cobra Commander ) or the Alliance ( GiJoe, Heros, Jedi, etc...)
Some of them even have force abilities.

Back to the colors. I don't have any flat paints all my paints are shiny. What flat brands that bond well with plastics do you recomend??

Do yourself the favor...buy a can of Krylon Flat white spray paint...you can find it at Walmart

Use the Krylon as a base coat on the Joe parts...then add some colors on top and give it a clear coat.

I guess I'm not clear what you want to do...replace the black in Clone/Storm Trooper unis with red, or add Red as a color that's more dominant than the white?

If you want to totaly forget the white...I'd say find the can of Krylon Semi-Flat black...and go from there.

No unis will still be black this particular armor is red on top with the white accents. I'll paint in the black unis last after I paint the rest of the red and white. I'm just trying to decide were to apply which colors. Since I'm not doing squads I have the freedom do do those colors which tickle my fancy.

The Krylon is a good idea since I base coat with spray paints anyway. Do the Krylons have polycarbonates in them so they bond with the plastics and do they dry completely?

If they're Mand-based, I'd use a medium gray or grayish-blue as my base rather than white. I've never been a big fan of red, but dark gray looks pretty good when contrasted with a deep red/crimson (kinda like the red/gray Mando in the new Entertainment Earth Mando packs.)

But yeah, I'd say use gray instead of white - especially if you're keeping the black uni-tard (heh, I said "tard") - I think that would look pretty sweet.

And I had to re-read where you wrote that the helmet was removable. I thought you were just using swappable heads, because the WolfMan head is so big already and the helmet doesn't look big enough to fit over it -- great job!

Just a thought, but maybe reverse the colors and paint black where the white normally is and red where the black should be. the red is really popping. I'd hate to see that color go by the wayside.

I like the red also and I think the grey is a good idea too.
Here are some other alien helmets I'm working on.

I'm not expert in Sw realm but he looks cool so far, I like that it's the werewolf guy under the armor. He looks good so far.

Those new helmets are great. I'm doing something similar now with Mandalorians. Always cool to fit aliens with helmets (as oppose to shoving a human head under there).
