Cool figure, my only critique might be the paint. Could be the lighting, but the green looks very inconsistant on him. Otherwise, very neat. The pilot head/helmet combo works very well for Tripwire.

You don't like him as much as the "last man on Earth" do you?

I dig it, though, but green is too realistic for me, :)

I'm with Viper Dave...the green looks a little mottled...almost like the V1 Big Brawler's pants.

I love the mix of Joe and SW parts you've been using...I just think you need to do that final fix on the 25th crotches to make them fully poseable.

Its a good custom in my book. I like the over all baggy feel of his pants and his arms. The pants make it actually seem more realistic. If you have ever seen real straps and this sort over clothes that they bunch and gather and look weird. I am not sure about the mine detector though. I can understand that it is Tripwire and he is usually seen with one but your title says 2100, it seems a little out dated. Maybe he is showing off his vintage tools and sensing mines for hundreds of miles around with his helmet that amps his natural ESP.

I really like it. Even the uneven green paint. I would even add a dark green and black wash to really bring out its unevenness and detail.

It's interesting that you made him Air Force. I always thought of Trippy as Army, but to my knowledge him being a soldier was never firmly established in any medium, so it really works. The USAF is sorely underrepresented in the Joes, so this is a welcome addition.

Yeah, he's still Army. It was pointed out to me over on JBL that apparently only the AF has TechSergeants. Meh, I'm Navy and the rest of you services should have unified ranks like y'all seem to have instead of having the same things except for one. Bastids. And I'm saying that pretty much his only advanced tech is the new material his suit's made from. He likes to hold onto his 'lucky' detector. He's superstitious that way, lol.

I'm sure the mottled look is a camera effect as I put like 4 coats of green on him to cover over the gray underneath. Y'all sure you're not just seeing the 2 diff colors of green I used for the jumpsuit and the Fett arm things?

And as always, thanks gents. Liftoff is a *great* editor as he's always giving me great insights and ideas.
