This is my closet joe base as it was before I had to take it down due to water damage.
I miss it a lot.
It's kind of slow, but at least you can see the detail.

man you can feel the sadness dripping off of that vid. It looked great though raps it's a shame it had to come down. you ever going to get to put it back up again? Maybe in a wife approved joe room, or the corner of the living room? |

... i was hoping for a killer dwarves song...  those black awestriker are sooo cool using those pizza box proppers as tables is inspired! what's that one joe laying across the legs of the other for? in the med bay/kitchen area? finally, and most importantly -- are those map/display things some type of lucite picture frame? can you only get those in canada? those are awesome! great job! totally makes me miss our closet base from our youth.. |

Either he's insane with grief at losing his patient, or he dropped his scalpel... I didn't notice that the figure had fallen over until long after the base was de-constructed. I had to snap the shots in a hurry, as I was taking the base down later that day. The lucite frames are available at most dollar stores. I got mine at Dollarama in Canada, but I've seen them at dollar tree too. While mine use aerial photography downloaded from Google earth (Airtight is looking at the statue of liberty and death stats from a dirty bomb, Jack Bauer is pointing at Saddam's bombed out palace!) Want to really blow your mind? You can also get the photographs printed out at kinkos on overhead clear sheets, giving you a transparent map that can be looked at from both sides. You can get a fully customized transparent war planning map or full sized viewscreen for about $2. I was planning on taking a picture of the outside of the base, and then editing labels for the levels in paint to make a full diagnostic holographic screen effect. That was...wow, very well done. Very moving. I can actually feel what you must have gone through taking all that down...the sense of sadness to undoing it. Nice work.
