back in the day, i used to make elaborate warhammer game tables. its been about 15 years since ive done those, but have always wanted to get around to doing some on a joe scale. heres my first part, a small shed and woodpile. this smaller based dio goes onto a larger, 8x14 board which makes up a large diorama yet remains 're-positionable'. so if i get bored, i can move it around.

Ive got tons and tons of diorama bitz and peices, and the idea is to make some permanent (yet movable!) dioramas. in this case i took some playmobil stuff, some lichen and painted it with inks and drybrushed it. all joe scaled!

Very well done, though the building looks small.

Very nice, though I agree the cabin's a touch small.

I take it to be some sort of tool/wood shed buy the size. Do the windows open. If not they should. Make for good shots of Roadblock there throwing out some cover fire.

Nice work. I'd say the height isn't off, just that the 25th Ann. figs are like a whole head taller than the RAH ones.

looks great! If you continue with this i would love to see a rock/grass dio.

i love big dio's that are one piece cause i'm just a picky A-hole like that but this is a great smaller diplay dio..

i am cusroius how visible are the seams of these smaller pieces when put together?

John great work my man, looks perfect for a shed,I just got back into the minature scene as well, went to my local games workshop, got there crew working on a dio set up just for our 3060 verse.

They have some really cool books on how to build that stuff, they always come in handy,You ever think about a playable battle with joes just like 40k,I think it would rock,we are going to maybe try something like this at our GTG meet.

That looks great. That's Playmobile stuff with paint and a dark wash thrown over it? You made it so sharp looking that I would never had recognized it. The wash really draws out the details on the cabin. The compatibility with Joes is really enhanced by your work.

You might be pushing me towards making a diorama of some sort...

Looks like it would make a great Snake-Eyes Cabin.
