A blast from the past, this is a 25th remake of my Animal Handlers character, Lady Kestrel, a spotter/scout for the Iron Grenediers. Here is a link to the original figure: http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... adykestrel

Construction followed the original figure, a 25th Anny Scarlett with heavy sculpting and body mods. The left glove was resulpted as a falconer's gauntlet, shoulder armor was sculpted onto her right arm and shoulder. The goggles are BBI, the G36 modified from Marauder's, sword and sheath from a Van Helsing Anna Valerous, and the peregrine falcon is a Fisher Price bird with 25th Anny Polly's legs.

Very cool, I love the concept and execution. If the figure were production, I'd definitely have one on my shelf!

From what I cna see she is a beautiful custom. I would like to see more of that sword. The handle looks kind of on the large side but it may not be depending on the blade.

Great job, I really like this one.

Im especially impressed with the removable faceguard

the one criticism Id have is the same as Pluvs-

that sword just looks a bit big and out of scale.

Also- i really like the addition of a suppressor to that G36.
Makes an already great weapon better.

Is it one of MJs suppressors?

And if so, which one? (cos Id like to steal that idea)

I was going for a more Middle Eastern looking blade over a straight European sword.

iwbeta believe it! I certainly remember the original Lady Kestrel (have it book-marked someplace) :)

This looks production. Even the anti-25th can't compain about this one...

EDIT changed recently to certainly cause I don't know why I wrote recently...

That is beautiful. Tearjerkingly beautiful.

If you ever consider parting with it, please keep me in mind. I'd love to gift it to my wife.

I'm not diggin' the Scarlett head for the same reasons I didn't dig it on her own fig, but this lady rawks the house. I can see that sword being a type of scimitar, no problem.

That is so well executed, it looks production quality.

I might have to "borrow" those ideas to do a shooter figure.

Well... You just made me a little less grumpy about having to buy that comic pack Scarlett. This is some seriously excellent work.

Excellent work! I enjoyed your original as well. Very nice to see an original character come out of a 25th Anny fig. I'd buy it if Hasblows would pick it up.

This is just such a sleek and cool design. And it's color combo that works great, but hasn't been over used.

Everything is so smooth and sharp, it doesn't look like a custom. This one is make me want to try customizing some 25A figures.
