When the 25th Anny FF came out, I hated how his straps seemed to strangle the fig. I then, after finally finding an extra FF, set about to cure this problem. I basically just cut the circle part out of the harness and glued the harness to the torso. The backpack still goes far enough into the peghole to look normal. I painted the grenades green to resemble the original and added a holder for his cell-phone on the pack (thanks to one of those numerous wrist-comms I have lying around from VvV figs). Fairly pleased with the results. I've included a pick of the stock fig for comparison. I originally picked up the fig to make a NF Shockwave, and I still may do so.

looks good since hasbro put the harness way too close to his neck, yours looks better and thats col for the phone since it needs to go somewhere and somewhere not to get lost like the old one..

This proves how such a "minor tweak" can have such a major improvement. Good job. That really is how the figure should have looked.

Shifting the grenades to a green is a nice touch, too. I always like when there's one color element that's not quite on the same page as the rest. It adds a touch of realism to a figure and makes the look seem more military and less superhero.

That looks MUCH better. I'm going to have to do something like that when I eventually find a Firefly.

I've yet to see that figure in person, but the mod makes him looks really different- in a good way.
