This is the figure I've been working on as part of the Custom Celebration figure challenge. The final step in most of my customs is to come here and see what I can do better, so...

What can I do better?

Cool!

I'd make the pupils a tad bigger, though (unless that's the look you were going for.)

Turned out great!

The hiarline is a littel rough. I'd give it one more go over to make sur eit llooks like hair meeting the scalp and not the other way around. His eyes on the small side. I'd make them a little larger. Oh and this may be a nit pick but unless the tie is a clip on, there should red coming out from under the colar. Of course I could totally see Dr. Venom as a clip on guy.

Some very cool ideas here. I think the shirt hanging out of the belt really makes this custom have that tired, over-worked look about him, but then again.... if he needs a snooze he could always lay down on that warm looking rug ya have under him ;) Great work, and I enjoyed seeing how he came together.

Very nice, good sculpting on the tie. The hair could use a little touch up around the hairline & maybe some larger pupils, but an overall solid custom.

The eyes have it! Nice job on capturing the hard-working, underpaid character. Just fix the eyes and he's the bomb!

That's a really great looking custom... At first glance it looks flawless.

everybody's hitting on the head...eyes and hair could use a little cleaning up with the paint...
is the head sculpted from scratch? It looks a little lopsided...but that's forgivable.

Awesome work on the torso...just clean up some of the sculpting lines ont the shoulders and aroudn the collar...and you're good.

last thing I'd fix is the wrist wehre the new hand meets...right now it just looks a bit rough.

Did you try attaching the untucked shirt flap to the torso? right now it kinda starts up from nowhere and looks a little off.

Excellent... Thanks for the notes everybody :D

The head is not a custom sculpt (I WISH!), but is from Good 2 Go. It appears to be based somewhat on a shrunked down Elrond head, a little bit. The eyes are filled in where they are sculpted, so I really can't make the whites any bigger, or it would look sort of odd. But I should be able to do something about the pupils.

It's funny, sometimes it takes the flash of a camera to bring out some of the flaws. I totally couldn't see how odd that hairline was painted until I looked at the pictures, so I can definately do better there.

I also see some rough spots on the torso work that I couldn't see until it was painted, so I'll have to smooth that out too. The shirt tail was sort of a catch-22. I knew it would look sort of strange coming off of the waist like that, because I always hated that sort of look on classic figures. Like with Headman's suit. But I wanted that look, and to sculpt it coming down from the torso would have hurt the range of motion. Unless I found a way to use some flexible material to come down from the upper body...

Thanks again for all the feedback!
