No real back story for these...I plan on doing a whole Serpentor's Throne Room setup eventually, but I wanted to show these two customs off now.
I always loved Serpentor's original uniform, but it never really seemed combat appropriate. More ceremonial. I also liked the v2 black repaint (though I think the yellow should have been gold), so I used one of my 25th Serpentors to emulate it.
As for the throne, it's the famous Flash Gordon Jaws of Death throne. I know everyone and their brother has used it as a Cobra throne, but it's just too perfect to pass up. I tried to paint mine to fit more with Serpentor's forces.

Oh, and as a bonus, here's a picture of me blatantly ripping off Dark Horse's idea to fix my 25th Cobra Commander. I used a Microman material force head, like he did, but I decided to paint mine silver instead of going with the chromed look, since I wanted mine to look as much like the v1 figure as possible.
