I just finished off two of my Terror Drome security staff. They aren't anything fancy, just filling a could spots in my army. I started these litterally like 4 years ago, so... It's good to be done. I had to get a friend to paint the eyes though :\

Perimeter Patrol:
Head: Raven's Castings
Torso: Scrap Iron
Arms: Tunnel Rat and Mutt
Waist: Wild Weasel
Legs: Buzzer
Dogs: Chap Mei

Cobra Sharp Shooter
Head: Raven's Castings
Torso: Trip Wire
Arms: Corps!
Waist: ARAHC Major Bludd
Legs: Roadblock v2
Rifle: BBI

Preservation of the Genius: What to do with leftover parts and pieces

Mindbender head, hairspray cap, base of a Star Wars holo figure and a clear thumbtack

Image Image Image

I think it needs more... maybe some hoses and tubes or something?

And a real easy female Clone Trooper:

SA Clone + Lady J Spy Troops gear = This:

So... any thoughts? Ideas on sprucing up the MB in a jar?

Mindbender head in a jar rules. Nothing else will ever be that cool ever again. If the photography were better it'd be AVATAR'D. :shifty:

I'm diggin' the perimeter guard and the sharpshooter. Good choice of parts used. Simple and works well. Nice job.

That's the best use of a Tripwire torso I've ever seen. Figure looks great.

The head-in-a-jar is cool, too. Matt Groening would be proud. If you're looking to gore it up a bit, though, scuff it up and then give it a purple/red wash.

Regarding Head in a Jar. Could thumbtacks be used as replacement neckjoints? it looks like they could :shifty:

neat...I think the Head in a Jar needs a name plaque... beyond that you need to decide is it simply preservation in a dormant state...or is he a fish in a fishbowl like Futuramma heads?

Some VOTC IG-88 and film canister parts could be bashed to make a neat "metal meat sack" to transport Mindbender around.

Maybe a satilite dish...or a Top Hat

some tubes or hoses could look cool...maybe hollow out an E Honda belly and store him there...

For the head in the jar, I'd say embellish the base piece a bit. Maybe even adapt the little helmet-case from comic pack Hannibal to work. You could also tint the dome a bit with transparent paint to give it a more water-filled look, like I did with my head-in-a-jar Mindbender.

Other than the base of the Dr. Mindbender head, everything looks great.

A nameplate would definitely spruce it up, give the tank a greenish tinge, add a few clear bubbles to simulate a nutrient bath...

I love that second pic of the Clonetrooper! Must have been a slow day on Kamino.

"I didn't know Jango had a Sister!"

[resisting "Mandawhore" joke]

Wow, Perimiter Patrol is very cool!
The Shap Shooter too, he could be a SWAT-member. Excellent!

Thank you for all the comments and ideas guys! You know, I have an extra Hannibal case and it never even occured to me to use that... Good thinking. I had considered actually filling it with water, but I'm not sure of anything that would seal such a small area and not much with the aesthetics of the peice. Maybe rubber cement? :\

Some good ideas on the bubble head though, and I definately see where I can go a little more crazy with it.... May even have to find an extra E Honda... :shifty: :rotfl:

I know the troopers may look a bit dated, but then... so does most of the rest of my army so, they work for me there. Thanks for the comments on those too.

Thanks again!

They're all good but the Minder in the jar idea is as good as stolen. I don't know what but I'm totally using it on something. The only thing I can think of to improve it some kind fo intercom so he can talk from within the jar.
