Parts:
Head: Star Force
Arms: General Hawk v2
Torso/Waist/Legs: Slipstream

I've always wanted to make an entry-level Cobra Pilot to fly Rattlers and be commanded by Wild Weasel. Also, I wanted to try the Star Force head.

I love the colors, they mix great. And the helmet fits perfectly to the body. But if I may, I think the arms are a bit too bulky to the rather slim Slipstream body.

Any one that knows me knows that I am a fool for anything air force related, and this guy would definately be an army builder for me.
Awesome work!

I saw this first in the gallery about 5 minutes ago and wow!
This looks awesome!
Everything blends perfectly.

re: bulky arms: it's true, these arms are pretty beefcake, but it was a conscious choice. I love the Slipstream arms, except the shoulder pads make no sense to me. I shopped several similar arms (Bullhorn, etc.) and these ones just spoke to me. They could be overdoing it though :)

re: shadows/drybrush: I can't take credit for an overall dry-brush job here: it's just the lighting and the fact that the Slipstream torso has so much wrinkle depth.

Thanks for the kind words, all!

Great custom! Appropriately fills the void of "regular" Cobra pilot.

I knew you were apprehensive about using the Lanard Star Force head, but it works very well here. The pictures don't quite show it, but that head has a very bulbous mouth piece. Did you modify this aspect of the head or is it just "hidden" by the photography/lighting.

Overall good work.

I saw this on the main page and was blown away. The paint is fantastic. I've thought that head was too goofy for a good use but you have proven me wrong. Fantastic work.

Thanks!

That head does have a bulbous nose and I didn't do anything to hide it. I think it stands out a bit more on the standard Star Force figs because they are so sparse. This fig has a bit more to look at so I don't think your eye is drawn quite as much. *shrug*

Suffice it to say: that is my least favorite part of the head/fig :) I will be keeping my eye out for improvements and a new head is high on the list.
