I was able to pick up a Serpentor and Beachead the other day. I really like these, but Serpentors head paint was...horrible and Beachead was too tall for me. Serpentor's prototype's head sculpt looked pretty nice but then the paint on it really made him look just bad. I also added very minor detail to the helmet. I painted the bottom fang on the side of his helmet and also the eyes on the helmet. Makes it look a bit more menacing I feel. Beachead is a great figure but a bit too tall and his boots seemed to throw off his proportions a bit so they got cut right after the top strap and then glued back on. Nothing too involved here but I thought some people may enjoy looking at the pictures. Serpentor ![]() ![]() ![]() Beachead (height adjustment)

Serpentor looks perfect now and BeachHead is much improved after the adjustment. I had planned to trim down the boots on mine, but went ahead and swapped legs for SE instead because I thought the boots would look hokey afterwards. Boy was I wrong -- good stuff! |

Dave, Did you find those in Jersey? I haven't seen them yet. Great mods, BTW. |

Serpentor looks really good with hair. Is it just painted on? And nice height mod to Beachhead. Is it Beachhead or Beach Head? |

Chief, I had thought about doing that too but I liked the baggier pants that Beachead, Beach-Head or Beachhead Jfak, Yes I found them here in NJ. I'll keep my eye out for you also just shot you a pm. Levantine, Yes the hair is just painted on. I had thought about scupting it but I liked the matted down roman legionaire look the painted on matted hair gives. Plus with some highlights it ends up looking like it is more then just paint. Viper, Thank you and yes it is just painted on with some great model masters acrylic paints. I can't swear by this stuff enough takes half of the aggravation out of painting. C Money, Serpentor had his face repainted. I addes dark shadowing to his eye socket, laugh or better yet frown lines, mouth and chin. Then I painted over that with a lighter skin color then addes some more detail over the shadowed areas. Then gave him new eyebrowns, new paint job to his eyes and his hair. CivilGod, I've attached a picture that I posted over at GTG that shows where the boot was cut. I don't have any photos of the boot before the mod, but bascially it was cut from the pant cuff to the first boot strap you come to on the boot.
