"Gurgles"

The silent, hulking helmsman known as "Gurgles" to Maelstrom's crew has been in service aboard the vessel for so long that many have taken to joking that when the ship launched from drydock over a hundred standard years ago "Gurgles" had already been aboard for a week. Next to nothing is known about "Gurgles". "Gurgles" does not speak, although appearing to fully understand Basic, Huttese, and a few of the other trade languages. No one knows if "Gurgles" is male or female, nor even what species it is or homeworld it hails from originally, only that it breaths water exclusively. Some among the more superstitious crewmembers believe "Gurgles" to be a surviving At'Alantian, although no conclusive proof that the lost civilization ever even existed in the first place can be found. No one even knows it's actual name, the crew just took to calling it "Gurgles" due to the constant sound emitted from it's water-circulating breathing apparatus. One interesting trait that it posesses is a blaster resistant hide, during a skirmish with the Jade Dragons almost ten standard years ago, "Gurgles" was shot in the chest at point blank range by a Jade Dragon boarder but just shrugged it off and continued piloting the Maelstrom through evasive maneuvers.

Fal Mondar

Fal Mondar was a navigator on a freighter until he got tired of living life by the straight and narrow. He quit his job and wandered the galaxy looking for adventure eventually ending up on Aquos shortly after the outbreak of the Galacti Civil War. Mondar found work as a pirate first aboard the Black Pearl, but grew tired of Captain Jak Sparrow's buffoonery and desire for attention. Stealing one of the Black Pearl's small transport skiffs, he jumped ship in the middle of the night and headed for the last known location of Captain Ko Zibar's Maelstrom. Mondar served with distinction aboard the Maelstrom and maintains a position of seniority under the current commander, Zibar's son Captain Zan Zibar.

Maelstrom Warriors ("green" Nikto)

The Maelstrom boasts a rather impressive host of crewmen employed to take up arms in her defense or to attack her enemies. They hail fom many worlds and wear many different uniforms resulting in a rather rag tag appearance, but do not let a lack of military decorum fool you. These warriors are fearsome to behold and ruthless in battle.

Once again, these are superb. The pirate sets went beyond that with the troop building effect (By the way the Maelstrom Warriors really reminds me of that guy alien from The Last Starfighter, Grig. It's just the expression.). However my problem is with Gurgles...........just send him to me and all will be forgiven. Seriously hands down he is my favorite from the whole series so far.
