Here is a custom I just finished for DarrenHowlett

All he gave me was a filename (Lonestar) and a specialty (Infantry).

Here he is
Lonestar:Infantry

Let me know what you think.

What an odd collection of parts! They work though and flow together nicely. They gun is the high point for me. Is it a custom piece? It looks like about three guns mashed together.

He has an interesting space cowboy look to him. He reminds me of something, but I can't think of what it is right now.

Bravestarr maybe? Image

Cool figure. I don't like all the white, but it's in keeping with a parade style cowboy, so it makes sense.

yes, it's a custom. It has the stock and barrels from a Big Ben rifle, with the revolver and hand grip from a Destro 03 gun. I am very pleased how it turned out.

that's definately my inspiration. The white is a bit much, but I wanted to keep with the hokey cowboy motif.

The boots look a little bulky, but the rest of him looks great.

The gun is a masterpiece though, taking two really crappy overly abundant weapons and fusing them into something really amazing looking. I am going to have to try a take on that.

Yeah, Bravestarr was what he reminded me of. I couldn't think of the name.

I like it a lot. It has a cheesey look to him, but a good cheese. :D As others have mentioned, the gun is the bomb. Great use of parts as usual.

cheese was a big part of this guy. I wanted someone who still worked as a Joe, but had a definate non-military motif (hardball, bazooka, spirit). I had a knockoff gun I was going to use, but it was too big. I'm glad I made the gun, and very happy that it didn't take alot of modding.

for this character, I picture him as a narcissistic hot shot rifleman, who is just as concerned with his looks as he is his military skills.

Agree. Figure is great. Sharp colors and unusual - but good parts.

But the gun is a masterpiece.

Matt these turned out incredible. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at them when I picked up Roscoe, who is doing great. They looked great then; but after the final paint apps these guys are freaking awsome.
