Kwee Kwaig

The fearsome Weequay known as Kwee Kwaig is the first mate of the "Maelstrom", Captain Zan Zibar's flagship. Kwaig earned his position by supporting Zibar's take over of the "Ravagers" pirate clan from his father, the late Ko Zibar. Brutish and dull witted like most Weequay, Kwaig is also unwaveringly loyal to Zibar and keeps his eyes out for any signs of danger to his captain.

Snote Pikin

The Skrilling Snote Pikin is Maelstrom's armourer and quartermaster. He watches over his weapons and supplies with a banker's eye letting nothing go to waste nor letting the many crewers onboard get more than their share. Gruff and easily angered, Pikin is not someone you want to get on the bad side of, although sadly Pikin's good side isn't all that friendly either...

Van Dal

Van Dal is a former Imperial Stormtrooper who deserted the Empire after his protection racket targetting local business owners was uncovered by his superiors. Dal killed his commanding officer when the Commander wanted his cut of Dal's little enterprise. Dal fled his post and spent some time in the "Red Claw" space pirate clan before ending up on Aquos. Due to his military training, Dal serves Zibar as captain of the Maelstrom's elite guards. Despite being a horrible drunk, Dal does his duty with efficiency and a general love of being able to dispense pain to Zibar's enemies.

"Patch"

The Dresellian pirate "Patch" is one of the Maelstrom's longest serving residents, second ony to "Gurgles" the helmsman (who has served so long that it is said he "came with the ship"). "Patch" was one of the elder Zibar's staunchest supporters but is so afraid of Zan Zibar's unstable temper that he dares not make a move against the new captain.

These are quite cool, I especially like the Van Dal figure....great use of that head. You should do a Hutt pirate captain...not enough hutt customs...

Thanks guys!

There will be a Hutt custom in this series, but he will not be a pirate captain simply because of the inability to fit a Hutt comfortably into the captain's quarters of an Ultimate Black Pearl Playset. I have something VERY special planned for the Hutt though...

Must get a black pearl.

Great stuff as always, I think we need a four armed pirate with 4 sabers.

Maybe hutt could be the mess hall guy, :)

Thanks! A 4-armed pirate is coming, in fact, there might even be more than one...:shifty:

Nope, but there will be a galley cook for each vessel and you will not really want to eat anything they make after seeing them...

I think everyone will enoy what I do with the Hutt character when it finally debuts...:shifty:

I'm not a fan of your tolerance for SW figs' low articulation; but I am a fan of the talent you put into designing and painting these guys and the love that obviously shines thru them all. More, please.
