Found Serpentor earlier this week and immediately felt something was off about him. The shiny mustard color they used for the majority of the figure just didn't look good for one. I also don't much like the helmet they included with him. So, given that I'd decided to repaint the entire figure I thought a few more tweaks were in order as long as I had him disassembled. I've always liked v1 Serpy's snake gauntlet so I cut the forearm off the comic pack Serpentor and modded it to fit. I gave him the v1 cowl I hollowed a year or so back to replace his crappy helmet and modified a v1 backpack to fit the new figure. He has a back hole from the factory, which leads me to believe they were intending to go with the cobra hood backpack, but couldn't get it ready in time. Finally, I cut some notches out of the inside of his kilt so that I could store his knives. Now, I have my definitive Serpentor, and something I think looks really nice.

Let me know what you think of him.

I like him! I actually prefer the new helmet on mine, but I think you really nailed the classic look with this one - I may give it a try myself.

Now that's the way 25th anny Serpy should have looked. Bravo! Hope to duplicate you work in the near future.

That is closer to what should have been produced.

wow incredible. It's no secret that as much as I gush over the 25A line - Serpy has not been my favourite design, but you certianly do it justice with this.

This is what hasbro should have produced - very nice job!

I like him. Very classic look to him. I personally prefer the new helmet, but the classic one looks good here.

I think their going to do one just like this soon, All they would have to do is reverse the gold and yellow, new set of hands and do the cowl and helmet. But I think yours is is better than any they would produce.

Now why did you have to go and do this when I was perfectly happy with my serpentor? now I gotta spend my weekend steal... ummm copying your idea.
Totally freakin awesome bro!

Very cool. I would have preferred this to what we got. While I'm no fan of simplaing translating designs form one body type to another, you don't get more classic the the original Serpentor.
