Ok I give up. I keep searching for 1:18 scale buildings and all I get on google is 1:18 scale cars.Buildarama has nice buildings in a smaller scale so I was wondering if anybody knew any sites that sell simillar buildings in 1:18. I'm guessing such items dont even exist,is this true?

The only thing I have seen is the few plastic playsets. Some of them have been linked a couple of times on this forum. I will see if I can update with a link. - The PTE Battle Command Post is what I was thinking of, but I think I have seen others too.

I have actually looked for buildings myself, even asked my local hobby store, but nothing to be found.

What kind of buildings are you looking for? City streets, or something specific?
Fully functional interiors, or static backdrop?

Killuminati had a pre-order for a three sided one story building with a door and windows at his booth at the Convention. I'd contact him for details.

Of course Cap could build you a set using used bubble gum and duct tape and have it look like a museum piece. His prices are also very reasonable.

Playsets - really do not sell that well in fact it's been a buzz topic lately.

you can always custom build one or kitbash,

We had a Group Project a while back
http://www.joecustoms.com/projects/projects.php?p=location

There are previous lines have had sets that you might be able to get away with, Little Bratz had an awesome High School set,.

In the link below (which is sorely outdated) I have Wayne Mannor, Spawn Alley, the Ghost Buster Firehouse the Police Acadamy and even the daily Bugel (yes they are a little out of scale I know) and the corner of a Walmart piece that needs a make over.

There was a Trading Spaces doll house set, as well as Lil Bratz and even Polly (Danger to Children) Pockets.

You can try Hobby Train Stores, as the G scale is close, also I have seen some modle dios around 1/20th

good luck

I highly recommend going with Cap. Not only can he do miracles but you'll get a better level of scale and customizing. The ones he did for me have left me floored in terms of the detail.

The one above, and others like it will be sold soon. I have to remove a great portion of what I have created from the apartment, due to some hardships. So if it is buildings you are interested in, let me know what you had in mind. Even the SGC will be sold. The Atlantis site is still unfinsihed(have to assemble some walls) but all in all, I am keeping very few of the ones I have created for my own enjoyment.

Time will tell.

Eversparkel has had some, like interlocking floors and walls, although i haven't seen them lately, i have one set and it's really cool, lots of extras that come with it. I have seen some older plastic buildings on Ebay, but you gotta do some searching for them.

As the proud owner of a Cap dio I can safely say that it CAN be shipped safely. Cap uses a ton of packing peanuts and bubble wrap as well as marking the box clearly.

Mine came through minty fresh and diolicious!

I have a NEARLY 1:18 scale McDonalds that I got at TRU a few years back, and a couple of cheap-o 'facade' buildings that come from the generic Walmart toy line around Christmas (the non descript red boxes). I got a bank front and a house front. You sort of just have to watch for stuff, usually in places you wouldn't normally look.

I also have found Playmobile buildings to be fairly useful, especially if you are just looking for exteriors.
