The floor had to be cleaned, so after the Chuck Norris gym equipment was moved out of the way there was a big flat space. Thus providing a challenge, a figure can be like a domino, that is why they invented figure stands although they were not used here. The Cobra troopers were put in formation and here are some pictures.

Sand Vipers version 2, the backbone of every army.

They stood at attention for around 24 hours, so a few of them were a bit tired.

Why stand when you can sit.

If the Commander arrives then everyone can go back to work.

Thank you for having a look and leaving some comments.

Where I am, the G.I. Joe figures are not around in mass quantities, so if they have a break or sun damage it is at least better than the usual nothing.

The Python Viper has more than a few problems. His rubber band is doing something freaky inside him, and when I first acquired him his feet were pointed 180 degrees from where they should have been. But he was a "trooper" and managed to stand at attention like the rest of the figures.

There is also a bit of fun happening with the guy in the tank, can anyone recognize who he is?

Sweet!

But there's no way I'd try that without figure stands. I've done it a few times, and it's always friggin' Cobra Dominoes when I do it :P

Nice assortment! Always fun to see where people focus their army building.

My guess for the guy in the tank: a CHiPs figure.

Yes, it's Erik Estrada. Ponch snuck his way into the pictures.

Next time the floor is clear, I will see about getting the G.I. Joe forces in formation.
