I am basically going to see if you guys want to see a custom of this before I make it....so here it is....I can post the picture later...if you think this design has a place in COBRA.

Cobra has awesome suits....But do you ever wonder who makes sure the HEAT vipers don't get too "hot" or the lazer vipers stay sharp on the battle fields?

Its the Cobra fashionista!

Here is the file card:

COBRA FASHIONISTA
(uniform designer)

File name: Kleinovassi, Gertrude
Birthplace: Paris, France
Speciality: Clothing design
Second speciality: Business

The COBRA Fashionista was an ex-model/failed fashion designer in Paris. His best girlfriend was Janice Dickinson and they spent most of the 70s indulging in coke & disco. His coke addiction led to the failure of his clothing line. Desperate for money he was picked up by Cobra as a mean to clean up the initial suits for battle.

The Cobra Officer outfit wasn't meant for battle. So Cobra recruited Gertrude to design new functional costumes. The CF works hard with Cobra scientists and engineers to make sure the costume looks good as well as being ready for battle.

Gertrude has no views on the war between COBRA and Joe, just as long as his designs look "fabulous" on the battlefield. All they do is use his designs for the organization. He made the Range vipers intimidating after watching a spanish horror film about skeleton zombies, the Frag vipers were modelled after praying mantises, the HEAT vipers helmet after a the vidal sassoon assymetrical bob...He is known often to put on the Cobra costumes he's designed and to strut out on the catwalk of the battlefield. Of course, he doesn't know how to fight....

"No one in the Joes wants to harm the COBRA fashionista. But I don't think he knows how the suits actually function. So when you see a viper on the battlefield strutting his stuff to the rhythms of explosions...you gotta watch out. He's just an artist caught in the wrong side of the law. My boys are not asked to shoot him. Often times, the techno vipers have to pick him and take him back to Joe headquarters. He's their most valuable nuisance."

Yeah, why not? I'd like to see him. Certainly creative enough.

Sure, I wouldn't mind seeing it. Any custom is good to see.

Perhaps a little known bit of trivia: Hugo Boss designed SS uniforms for the Nazis in the 1930s-40s.
I guess this character would sort of be a modern-day version of that.

Just no capes, okay?

And promise to use a Big Brawler v1 head? Add in one of those cigarettes in the long holder, a raspberry beret (off-kilter), and John Lennon glasses...

Hey, J-man!

Can you whip up an Edna as the Baroness in photoshop?

Hehe, sure, let me find something good to work with and I'll post it. I'll put it in the G.I.Joe section.

I just figured I'll post it here. I don't have a 3d program to really build a body. I tried to give a decent simulated look using Photoshop.
