Post subject:  A couple new customs
This time around, I have some non-Joes complete. OK, one's a non-Joe, the other just uses no Joe parts. (Due to the 3 pictures per reply rule, I'll reply with the second.)

First up, Geo-Force. I'm working on a current JLA roster with the JLU figures. He's Superman minus the cape, certain areas filled in (S-shield, cape connections), and green stuff wrist and leg bands.

Second is what might be a Red Shadows Marine.. or Officer.. or some other title when I think of it. That's if I decide he'll fit with my other Red Shadows.

It's a straight-up repaint of a 30th A. SW Galactic Marine. I'd previously co-opted the Snowtrooper-style helmet for my variation of Zedhatch's Red Shadows, plus, I think the 'skirt' like the helmet ties them into the DDP variation of the Shadows. I know, the characterization tanked, but I liked the look.

So far, I just repainted everything white into red, and did up the skirt for a jungle vine camo -- I'm taking into account the Shadows' presence in S. America for this.

Also, I'm including the 'marine' with a squad of RS regulars, all outfitted with Marauder weapons.

With him, I'm not really sure if he fits, both in parts and color. I might have to look at him within foliage to know for sure if that works, because if it really doesn't work, then I'm not dropping $70 for a total of ten of these guys. :P

AWESOME Geo-Force, any plans to make the rest of the outsiders?

Geoforce looks good. Was he ever actually on JLU? I know there were a lot of group shots, I don't know if he was ever in one. Just curious.

I like what you did with the Galactic Marine.

Thanks -- Geo-Force wasn't on JLU AFAIK, but he's on the current comic's roster (with Terra powers). Sadly, or happily for my pocketbook, the marine's too short to stand with the converted Beachheads. I'll have to do something more invasive if I want to use the armor parts.
