I saw a cool custom boat in here by apacolypse: http://www.joecustoms.com/customs/custo ... e=1&id=411
And since I had this boat in a closet, I figured I'd steal the idea and make on for myself.
I never liked the Lanard toys, but this boat is awesome. If it was ARAH (and a bit better detailed), we would be all over it.

Forgive me the crappy pictures, and don't mention the sloppy painting, I know about it.
What I need some help with is the unpainted areas, and in particular the small waterjet. Colors? Should I paint the motor? What color on the net? Can I do anything to improve it further? Where to get good decals?
Names? "Cobra River Assault Boat"? "Cobra River Assault Patrol"?

At this point, my camera lost power, and I had to continue with my phone, and the last picture is probably the worst ever image of a Storm Shadow.

So come with suggestions on how to make this boat a cool vehicle. You know world domination starts on the river.

Looks pretty sweet SG. Did that with the last Corps boat I found at Wally World though think I went a darker blue and painted my guns red. Only thing I'd add to it would be some Cobra insignias and it'd be perfect.

You do realize the the abreviated name for that second one would be C.R.A.P.

Back to the custom, looking pretty good so far. I do like the first name you said, then it could be the C.R.A.B.

Net color...hmm...maybe red? Or white?

And I think you can get decals on gijoeheaven.com.

Yeah, this is the "Regal Blue" from GW, and it's a bit more purple than your normal Cobra Soldier, but I don't mind that much.
Where to get good Cobra stickers? I know how to make them myself, but they never seem to turn out good enough.

edit: gijoeheaven, thanks. and yes, I know what the names would be... :D

Looks great so far!!!

The decals on the one I did are from gijoeheaven. I haven't tried reprolabels yet. I like the decals from gijoeheaven and the assortment of decals that come with the sheets - not just logo's, but control panels, caution, danger etc decals that can be put to use.

Hmm, I would only suggest maybe painting the net black. Not sure about a name. Looks good, though.
