Yep, I stole Darkwynter's idea and ran with it; I broke down and bought a hooded CC, and like several others promptly decided I liked the regal blue better. So, I had the extra CC body going, 'what. I don't get a head now?' when I saw DW's Rattler Mk2 post.

Mine does have a couple changes: the head is a 25th Cobra officer, topped with a WW helmet I'd bought off eBay like 3 years ago. I always felt it was too big for new sculpt, but here it doesn't look too bad. I went the opposite route on accessories, too. The map is glued on, but his parachute back is removable.

For the pack I used a PTE equipment harness (like the one seen here in my Shockwave), with the pouches and straps cut off the back and a xD Paratrooper's closed pack glued onto that frame. The upper strap became the leg strap for the map, with the help of a second piece I found in my bits box. The map itself is a square cut from a business card.

Oh, and the Cobra officer? He's now a Cobra shotgunner, thanks to Flint's harness, a cast Roadblock head (with currently freaky eyes) and PTE/BBi hands.

Making my own Wild Weasel like that is pretty tempting. That looks nice.

Hehe, I think your helmet works better. I'll probally still use the SB ones just because I have a lot of them. I might steal your parachute idea though, it makes sense for WW. Great job on this.

--My only suggestion is for the shotgun viper. He rocks, but the webgear I would paint black and detail the gun.

Way to steal, thief :shifty:

Seriously, though, this is probably going to be the default formula for Wild Weasel unless Hasbro makes a 25A WW.

The Cobra shotgunner is good, but those eyes look way to cartoony.
