  • This section is for honest critique of the work shown here. Members are encouraged to give and accept non-confrontational constructive criticism as well as adoring praise and everything in between.
  • In order to show case everyone's work equally, please post multiple customs on the same day into a single thread. If you have a lot of pictures of your work you may have to add them to a separate post within that thread.
  • Please do not link to a sale thread or to eBay from your critique thread. This section isn't to be used to market your finished work. The Market Place section is better suited for that purpose.

 Post subject: 25th Anniversary Flint UPDATE

I finally completed my work on my Flint figure. After the Falcon figure, I had to completely rework Flint because Falcon can never look cooler than Flint.
The major areas or rework are:
Belt and harness completely reworked
Shoulder flaps sculpted
Forearms reworked and rolled up sleeve sculpted
Pants and boots repainted to be more accurate to the original figure
Second leg pouch sculpted
Fleshtone repainted
Scalpel head used to replace original Hasbro head

I'm also attaching a pic of the original version of my custom Flint.

Aww man, I was perfectly happy with my 25th flint till I saw this, now I gotta go hacking heads off of scalples and such to make mine look this good.

Just friggin' awesome!

I was Dremeling down some sleeves for my 25A Breaker last night and realized what a pain in the ass it is - so that makes your Flint even more impressive (I'm leaving mine with the original sleeves because I'm a lazy bastard that way.) But now you've got me wanting to add epaulets and another leg pouch. I also wanna go pack and repaint the legs on mine - damn you. :P

Pretty much a perfect rendition of my favorite character :bow:

That's Scalpel's head, you say? Looks great. This is really good work on what I thought was already a good figure.

Scalpel ended up being one of the JvC heads I used the most, second to Barbeque. If I can get one more, Zartan in Wave 3 will get a Scalpel head as well.
