Well, I'm in completely uncharted waters for me.

This is my first JLU custom, which I made because I want my son to have all the major (i.e. "speaking part") characters from the cartoon once he's old enough to appreciate them (for now, he's playing the heck out of his Super Hero Squad figures and the spare JLU Batman and Superman I gave him).

Anyway, Mattel never gave us a Question and I suspect he's one we won't see due to rights issues surrounding the character, so I thought I'd try making one.

Pieces of a Bruce Wayne figure, a Joker figure, a Stargate figure and even a Joe accessory went into the mix.

I still have some detail painting to do. But what do you think so far?

Looking good! It might just be me, but the head/hat looks a tad small -- but maybe it's in line with other JLU figs.

This parts combo would make for a great Spirit fig as well.

Can't wait to see it finished!

Looks cool so far. I dont think the head is too small I think it might be the hat.

The hat is a touch small, but it's not a big deal. I dig the figure.

Very cool, but the hat needs fixin. What about a Headman hat?

Awesome work as always Spin, but I think he would look much cooler with a pony tail :D

Or a Green Hornet.

He looks good. I think the headman hat suggestion is a good one. Since the only issue I have with him is the hat.

Thanks for the feedback, guys.

I never thought of a headman hat. I think I may even have one (with pnytail still attached...in case you want another for your collection, TC ;) ) in my parts bin. I'll get it painted up and finish up some of the details on this guy before posting some final pics.

I was going to do the gloves, shoes and hatband in black. Any other suggestions?

you could do a swappable head so you can have him mask less.

some little notebook accessories would be cool

Nice. I hate that Mattel can't make a The Question figure. Stupid licensing issues and stuff.
