It killed me to paint this clear figure. It was cool beyond words before I got a hold of it. I am sure it's some cardinal sin to paint a clear figure, but.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That's really cool. Was that a GTG or Alyosha fig? The paint job is dead-on. But what I like most is how the paint looks solid on the figure out of the light, but then looks like his phasing in and out of his invisibility in the light. Don't know if this was intentional, but it reall works well. Nice job! T |

The fact that the paint was thin enough to allow the sunlight through it absolves you of any wrongdoing and makes for a kick-ass effect. Really "LASER BLAST" awesome - this looks great! |

Thanks guys. Yes this was a custom figure created by Alyosha. Yeah, the solid in the shade and translucent in the light paint job was intentional. |

Yes, the translucence absolves you of guilt for painting a clear figure. What paint did you use? |

Fantastic! I know it took guts to paint it, but it worked out nicely. In fact, I think that's the point of having the clear base to work with so can achieve these very effects with the light. Excellent work from both you and Aly. |

I agree the outside pics are way cool with the light shining thru him to give the effects. So in all you did nothing wrong with painting a clear figure...Good move. Tim |
