Head -Modded Tripwire
Harness-Trooper
Torso-Cobra Trooper
Arms and Gloves-UBP Cobra Commander
Upper Legs-Tripwire
Lower Legs-Hiss Driver

I've been working on and off on this guy since February. The head took the most time and was the most fun to make, while the yellow almost made me stop altogether. I debated painting the padding and harness a light brown to give it more of an authentic look, but opted to go directly old school and paint all of it yellow.
The head is Tripwire, sanded down, and the back half of a star wars cloud car pilot attached with green stuff, then sanded down some more. The nose is also green stuff, as are the upper leg pads. They came out ok, funny story about those is I took the time and sculpted them on and they looked dead on, let them dry, it was perfect. Then I realized that I had no way to attach the legs to the figure, since I sculpted them on while they were detached. Lesson learned there. It was a bit harder to scuplt them on when after I ripped off the old ones and attached the legs to the figure, not sure why that is though.

One of the pics kinda sucks, as it looks like his visor is white. I tried to darken it a bit to show the colors more, not sure how well it turned out.
This will without a doubt be the first and last custom I ever paint this much Yellow. Holy Cow that was a pain in the rear. The white coat underneath helped a bit, but man I really had to practice patience with this one. I have been getting better at slowing down and taking my time, but I almost gave up on this one. In the past I would rush it out as best I could, I could cap a custom a day if I wanted, now I slow down, take my time and customs take a month or two. Having green stuff is really fun as well.

Thanks! Feedback and critiques are welcome :-P

Apparently I don't have a loose Sky Creeper anywhere, so he has to stand next to a bagged figure!

Except fot the head being (IMO) a little high on the neck, I love this custom.
Parts and paints work damn well. I like that you kept the shirt blue

I like this custom too. Very creative use of parts to get that look. I also like the more Cobra blue from the soldier body. Now just arm him with Marauder's Megatron and he'll be complete.

I have never been a fan of the original, but considering your skill with painting yellow and your parts choices I'm a fan of yours. Nice work, m'man!

WOW! Skycreeper is one of my favorite figures and very underapreciated IMHO.

Great job bringing him into the 25th style. Can't think of anything I'd change.

Extremely well done and faithful homage.

I'd never have thought to do it, but I'm glad you did.

Very nice !
I have to stop looking at stuff like this as it makes me want to reconsider the 25th figs.
