Very nice work. I can't imagine the Union Jack is an easy thing to paint onto a figure. It really disguises the mid-torso joint, too. |

Beautiful and super-clean. Man, the painted flag detail is flawless and I agree that it perfectly hides the torso articulation. This guy is the strongest of your 25th Anniversary-based pieces that I've seen so far-- you've taken your game to the next level, AV. |

Thanks everybody. I'm pleased I was able to fool y'all that this took any extra talent, lol. I hadda keep painting them white and red stripes over and over and over again to get them to a semblance of straightness. Thankfully the clothing folds work with me by fooling the eye into thinking they're straight lines on a curvy surface when they're really curvy lines on a curvy surface, lol. danielb wrote: He looks great, really well done union jack. I basically have to make every character that's ever shown up in a Joe, Marvel, DC, or Grendel comic; and every Star Wars movie or StarGate episode. Plus tons of one-off characters like Ash and Space Ghost and Raziel and... Plus I still make up some of my own dudes. But if you got ideas, lemme hear them. |
