The customizer who previously made the Flagg and the Joe HQ is at it again:

I have that same garbage can in my kitchen! I'll never look at it the same again.

That thing is impressive. He's the styrofoam king!

I know that this is going to sound bad, but that unaltered and unpainted cooler stuck to the top really ruins this one for me.

It's so obviously a cooler, that it throws you out of the rest of the design.

If he'd modded or painted it in some way it wouldn't stick out so much, but given the detail in the rest of it it seems - unfinished.

I agree with raps...

the effort is awesome. the time, work and passion obviously put into is definetly to be admired.

the only downfall IMO of this and the other projects is the (over)use of the styrofoam coolers. i realize that cant be spraypainted, but a mini roller with $20 of acrylic paints would make a world of difference.

personlly, i think wood would be a better and stronger choice to work with, but if this is what the guy went with, it still looks great.

A+ on every level, just invest in that acrylic paint and paint those coolers!

agreed on the coolers. Doesn't take away from the playability, but does diminish the display. Same guy just posted an update to his Flagg - but it's not on the TD yet, and I can't link to HT where I saw it. The update looks tons better for the Flagg. It's even bigger, if you can believe it, and the interior of it is loaded with awesomeness. Don't remember is the original had this, but there's even a morgue in this one - lol.

The scale is outstanding, but the attention to detail leaves me a little cold. Also the shuttle it's self just doesn't seem right in comparison to the rest of the complex.

That HQ in the back is massive. Damn.

How does he do that, with the tower and what not?

Very cool, paint would only improve it.

Once you click in the link you should be able to navigate thrw the site to check out the HUGE displays he's done. THis guy has a full scale Terror Dome, Pit Flagg and he uses more coolers than a Grateful Dead concert at Woodstock. His work is amazing.

wow, this dude has nothing in his basement but a gigantic Flagg, G.I. Joe Base, Shuttle, and Terrordrome! How's that for an unfinished basement???

Wonder what his wife says when he brings home all that styrofoam!

Like I said he completely re-did the Flagg too. He just posted pics, and I'll link them when I see them on a linkable site. The Flagg is 22.5 Feet long now, 5 feet wide and 5 feet tall.

I totally agree. The complex is amazing except for the previously mentioned cooler on top, but the trash can shuttle isn't nearly as cool as the defiant or crusader. Its neat in the "Hey look what he did with stuff around his house" kind of way. But not in the "I would like to have that" kind of way like the way I feel about his TD, Flagg and HQ.
