Hey all,
On vacation this week, so I've actually had a chance to work on a few customs. My 3 yr. old needed some occupying since his older bro started Kindergarten, so while he was painting a fodder figure, I pieced together some parts for this one. I really liked the version of the figure that came with the Shark 9000, but didn't think the colors would work, so I went with old faithful. As always, feedback appreciated! Still playing around with my camera to see which lighting is best for figs. Went with natural lighting on these.

Natural lighting is always best.

I like the overall look, but I can't tell if it's just a trick of my eye or if the arms are as long as the legs. It could be a forced perspective thing, but from both of these pics, he looks really top-heavy/gorilla like.

Thanks for the feedback, guys. Yeah, he is a bit top heavy, and I think the left vest helps accentuate the fact. I originally wanted to use the Shipwreck legs to go along with the arms and torso, but then remembered Cutter as being a shorter Joe and wanted to keep to the original feel. So I modded and used the Link legs. Once I get a Whale to fix up and update or some sort of Patrol boat, I think his "short-comings" will blend in with the surrounding. Thanks again for the input.

Or you could just switch out those lower arms with the ones that came on Footloose. You would end up with gloved hands but the skintones would match. I can't think of any other smaller arms without gloves. The Spytroops Grunt arms are smaller than those Shippy arms but I think they are still too big to go with the Link legs.

Thanks, that'll work. Hope I haven't already used FL's arms.
