Okay so I finally finished my "Z" family customs and even added a new illegitimate child of Zartan's to the fold, hey, he really gets around and chicks dig bikers.

First up is Zarana and, like I said in my WIP thread, I wanted her to be uglier than the Spytroops release but not as bad as the V1 figure. I thought the CP Lady Jaye head was perfect for the tough chick look I wanted. I gave her a machine gun and replaced her original weapon with a saw that looked better suited to close quarters fighting.

And then there is Zeke, based off of Zartan's V2 figure. I never owned a V1, my brother did but he ripped the hood off in the first month, so when I got the ugly neon horror that was Ninja Force Zartan I loved it. Still love that design today but never used him for Zartan. So after I made my Zartan custom based off of the DD design I wanted to find a place for the V2 figure. So I figure ol' Z has had some other ladies besides Zanya's mom so here comes another kid looking for daddy. Actually in My World Zarana searched him out to combat Zanya's claim as heiress to the Dreadnoks. And I gave him liberty spikes just to see if I could.

Nice! I think that LJ head works extremely well for Zarana (might have to try that myself....)

I like Zeke too - nice setup & backstory. What head did you use?

great stuff, all of them look perfect. Zeke looks so much better than the WIP pics you posted before i really didn't like the parts selection but all painted up and finished I change my mind,very cool.All your painting looks as good as hasbros too :-P

Woohoo, Chief is stealing from me!!

The Zeke head is nothing more than the CP Zartan head with the cowl removed, so he actually favors daddy dearest.

It's the arms that made me finally paint this custom. The WIP never really did much for me either but after I switched out the arms I was very happy with the recipe. Thanks or the compliments!

As a fan of the Dreadnoks, I like these two. I have a couple of the torsos you used for Zeke and wondered what to use them for. Now I know!

Really nice work on both.

Anybody think that Lady Jaye head could be used for a Melinda Clarke "Jessica Priest" Spawn custom?

Very Nice, I love them both. I think that Lady Jaye head turned out perfect for Zarana and Zeke is just awesome. I must have missed the WIP Thread what torso is that on Zeke?

The torso's from Stalker I believe.

That head works much better as Zarana than as LJ. Very nice paint apps, the denim turned out very nicely.

Very cool and very steable, which i think I'll do. I've got a mohawk less Zartan head that I thought was usless, now it's not.

They both rock. I've never been a fan of the Ninja Force Zartan, but you've done him great justice with this custom (cool back story too). But that Zarana is awesome. I never would have thought of using LJ's head for her. Nice job.

Those're both quite nice. Very inventing turning that turd of a Zarty v2 fig into his son. Totally redeems that fig all around.

Very nice work. I always thought v2 Zartan would work better as a different character. And a non-fugly Zarana? Awesome!
