Ok, I can't be the only dude who thinks that Comic Pack Breaker was a dead-on likeness for Matt Damon. And being a big fan of the Bourne movies, this one was a no-brainer:

I figured Webb/Bourne must have been in Delta before volunteering for Treadstone, so the uniform was a natural fit.

"Matt Damon as Captain David Webb and Chuck Norris as Major Scott McCoy in THE DELTA FORCE INVASION ULTIMATUM 6!!!" :P

Cheers!

No roundhouse kicks from Chuck?

You're right, that Breaker head is a pretty good Damon, nice job.

While I'm not a fan of the series (Or Matt Damon) I have to agree that this custom is spot on.

Looks just like a Black Ops Bourne would IMHO.

Wow, he does look a lot like Matt Damon. Now if only we could find a figure that looked like Ben Affleck...

Nice job on Bourne, but I'm telling you that other guy doesn't look tough enough to be Chuck Norris! How dare you defile Chuck Norris like that!

Man... NICE! I am digging all these 25A customs, and that Snake Eyes body is incredibly versatile. Awesome work, and the head choice is spot on

That's a very cool Bourne. Now you need a plain clothes version.

That is fantastic! I would like parts for one? I've never even seen the Breaker figure!Great idea about the D-Boys backgroud too. He really could have been.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I have to admit, I'm a little embarrassed, since the whole custom took only 5 minutes (3 to Dremel the head, one to swap the hands, and one to slap some paint on the neck.)

I plan to use him extensively in my Joe-verse as a team leader - a guy who joined up with the Joe team after the whole "Bourne" thing got resolved. He can be their CIA Liaison as well as a standard one-man-ass-kicking Army ;)

I view the movie series as an entirely different story line than the books (since they're nothing alike anyway.) The Ludlum Borne was a VietNam vet, and more of a Foreign-Service officer than a super-ninja. I like both series' on their own merits, but have to admit that I've started digging the movie version a lot more lately. I've started reading The Bourne Legacy, and it's just not doing it for me yet (since Webb would be crowding 60 by now - he can't be that much of a badass anymore :()

Stan, I've got a head set aside for you (you don't need a SE body too, do you?) and Cap, yours is coming along nicely . That'll leave me with a couple more heads to do a plain-clothes version or two. I figure I'll make one with a jacket, and one without.

Thanks again!

Heh...I used the exact same recipe for my 25th anny Grunt and never once tried the head on the unpainted body. Otherwise I might've stopped, seeing how cool it looks.

Nice call.

Thanks Spin - I didn't realize until your post that this was an exact copy of your Grunt. I couldn't get past the Damon-like head and zoned out when I was putting it together.

I found out when I was building one for Cap - you can mod the GungHo holster (I imagine you can do the same with Duke's) and make it fit the Snake-Eyes thigh "socket" (have to trim down the peg and the "groove" on the holster.) I'm going to go back and start swapping out a lot of the knife sheaths on my SEs for some holsters when I build my orig 13 and other "black ops" dudes.

Also, for those of you who don't want to shell out all those $$$ to get the 5-packs just for the V1 SE webgear, DTC Barrel Roll's vest fits the SE body perfectly. And with a little modding, the Roadblock webgear can be made to fit the SE body for some more "O-13" figs as well. (Can't wait until GTG starts casting those SE webgear sets, though :D)

And finally, since the hands on most of the 25A figs just downright suck, it's an easy fix putting DTC BR or BBI hands in their place. The SE arms are perfect for the swap, you just need to drill the hole a little deeper on the wrist (the diameter is right on, it's just not deep enough.) I also did a BBI gloved hands swap for Flint and it looks pretty good, too (again, had to drill the hole a little deeper.)

Cheers!
