Been working on this one for a little while now and finally got all the details painted this afternoon.

I figure Doc's another one unlikely to see production (especially after they showed off that Lifeline custom at SDCC), and he's really one of my favorite Joes, so I needed to give him a shot.

What do you all think?

That looks fantastic. really tight paint job. Looks production quality

I really must get hold of some of these 25th Joes to do some customs.

Looks factory, man.

Your paint applications are super-clean... this is a really nice piece, and of an unexpected (but deserving) character.

I'm loving all of these 25th Anniversary customs.

Try taking another pic with him against a dark background, plz. Your camera will prolly be able to show us his face, since his skin color's being drowned out by the lightness of the background and his outfit.

But yeah, stellar work on the outfit. Whattaya gonna do for his stretcher?

Hey, thanks for the comments, guys.

And I mhave to apologize for the shadows on the face. Didn't realize those initial shots were so dark.

I took a couple more under the daylight-bulb I installed in my Joe area and I used the flash, just to make sure we'd get some facial detail in these.

That's a comic pack Breaker head, hollowed out and dyed tan with modified comic pack Baroness glasses. I just painted the hair black and touched up the lenses with some translucent green to make the match.

Glad you dig it.

Oh, that's pretty obviously 25A Duke's bod there.

Yeah, that's much more impressive now that we can see how much he actually *looks* like Doc. Nice work, Spin. I'd buy that in half a heartbeat.

I was wondering who would be the first to make Doc from the Duke body. Some of the 25A molds just scream to be made into other characters. Very nice work on this one.

Now how about a Starduster?

VERY nice work, Spin. :-D It's good to see one of my favorite characters get the 25A treatment (since as you pointed out, he likely won't otherwise); you did him more justice than Hasbro could.

Awsome work! He really does look factory. You did a great job with the paint apps on him. Someone needs to get you som accesories for him.

The Duke body is great for this.
