There is a certain amount of nostalgia that arises when I see those Johnny West style customs.

I never had any of my own, but I was around then in school and at some older friends houses.

Truly a delight to see someone make customs of them. Thank you.

Is that a Cap head I see in the green outift?

Holy $#!@ these are all awesome!

I've been waiting on my BFS horses arrive, so I can post my cowboy customs (LR, Tonto, Zorro), but my shipment hasn't shown up yet.
But your pics confirm my fears - that the horses are just too small compared to "regular" 1:18 figs :-( Glad I only ended up getting a handful and a couple of Elk.

Amazing stuff!

Thanks fellas!

Chief, I don’t know man. My worry was too big going in (:shifty:). I was kind of happy they were as you see. They are a touch larger than PTE horses and 150% bigger than the Indiana Jones horse.

I pulled up some scale images to compare and think they are damn close. The elk of course is too big, but fine for fantasy stuff.

That first cowboy in the first pic is a bigger than average figure too

I have the same feelings on the Johnny West stuff.
My shrunken JW head is too small for these Dime Novel figs, but I found out the HACKS knight head painted makes a decent approximation

Also good eye. The two D&D rangers there are my character and Cap’s.

ultra real! I agree that 007 might be the best paint job, anyone has done!

I was wondering how the BFS kits fit on PTE horses?

Fine I’m sure. But it would be the closest thing I’ve seen to the proverbial lipstick on a pig.

That's a pretty impressive dump.

I really like the skellingtons.

hi Beav.

hi danofthedead.

dumps are cool.

thanks for all the kind words!
I have to say on 007 - I appreciate the nod on the paint, but that shrink is so good, I think I'd have had to try on purpose to mess it up with the paint. It's sublime. Spartan 1:18 Industries on Facebook for those interested.
