With the crew. The Halfling and the alien insect are still WIPs.

I’m not super happy with how the yellow came out. This one may get revisited when I finally crack and get an airbrush.

That is a very dangerous looking crew and I wish there were a cartoon to go along with it.

Thanks all. After making him I kinda want to try a few other Battle Beasts. I have ideas for an Eagle figure. If I can only find the parts

Oh my god, yes, please. Rocky is amazing: a great-looking figure, and a really well-done adaptation of one of my favorite vintage toy lines. I would love to see more custom Battle Beasts. The rest of the crew looks great, too, and I love the idea of Rocky contributing absolutely nothing until it's time for a fight. Beautiful work.

Thanks!

I’ve been pricing out parts. I’m heading to a toy show this weekend and maybe if I find some of the parts I’m looking for you’ll see a couple more Battle Beasts

Here’s what’s on the table tonight. Spare Parts Bot.

It is still a WIP.

The year is nearly over and I realized I haven’t shared the finished pics of the Captain’s crew

Skiltzz a member of a war obsessed insectoid race.

Image

Image

Mantis. Wearing armor utilizing the most advanced tech available they move without sound, evading all means of observation and surveillance. They prefer up close and personal kills using energy based weapons.

Image

Dran a halfling the Captain “discovered” in an anomaly in time/space. When offered the chance to return to his home world he scoffed.

This was actually a quite complicated build using the Star Wars Kuiil Mission Fleet figure, BFS parts, construx parts, sculpting, and more

Here is the Captain with his pet, Pet. This was sent to me by 2Dark and I didn’t do anything else to it other than to give it to the Captain. It seems like a freakish enough creature to join the crew

I painted up one of the Dollar Tree Destro mini figures. These little figures are super detailed. I plan on using most as statues for dios

Lastly a WIP I want to complete before the New Year.

Battle Beast Sledge Hammer Elephant

It’s an awesome piece and I thank you again for sending it.

The animals really are based on the base figures I can find for them. I have ideas for an Eagle and a Scorpion but beyond that I’m not too sure what I’m going to do. I’ll hit ya up if I think of any other animals

Here is what I got done in 25 mins. I made a video of the process. It worked even better than I thought it would. I could call this an LBC and be done with it but I still have plans.

Adding the third toe to the feet and a full repaint being the main things.

Here’s a pic next to Rocky for scale. I want to reflect size differences between animals rather then having them all the same size
