I liked Graymalkin’s idea about magnets so I set magnets in the holes that already were in the figures back and added magnets to the Final Faction pistols. Now I just need to paint the waist piece I chose and possibly add a sling to the rifle

Here’s one that I threw together yesterday and got painted up today.

It started with the legs. They were from the collection I bought and were modified at the upper leg to work with a ball from the Joe hip joint.

I started grabbing parts and it all just came together.

Known only as Captain, the space fairer explores the seedier parts of the universe. With his crew he goes where others won’t in search of bounty.

Now I am nowhere near the master of using found objects that Spectre is but seeing his stuff made me want to give it a try

Here is a radio communications satellite relay.

Positioned on high ground the relays enhance communication abilities in areas where the landscape may hinder coms.

Last one.

Some storage crates.

The black ones were a 2 pack from Dollar Tree. They were clear and blue. A quick black spray and some weathering and voila. I may go back and add labels or markings but for now they are done.

The smaller one is from Mega Construx. I added the Lego vent pieces and then weathered it slightly.

I love those crates. The captain is very unique, I don't think I have seen anything like him. The robot looking bits being so white and clean really pop. Very cool.

Thanks guys. Captain was all built around the legs and just kinda came together easily. It was one of those customs that I had done with maybe an hour of work.

Here’s a WIP I’m working on.

The being known as Rocky comes from a race of beasts whose sole purpose is doing battle with each other and others.

Somehow, Captain has convinced Rocky to travel as part of the crew. He does nothing while in transit but once on the ground Rocky is sent out to do battle with any being unfortunate enough to stand in his way.

Since taking these pics he’s been primed. I plan on painting it Sunday when I get back from Thanksgiving travels.

I know nothing about Battle Beasts and that was instantly recognizable. Great idea.

Love the middle toe sculpt idea on the Brutes- gonna copy the hell out of that. I hate the original feet, and have tried swapping them out but haven't found a suitable replacement, so building that third toe is genius. Can't wait to see him painted up!

Thanks all.

I can’t wait to paint it either 2Dark

Yeah it’s the brute figure

Thanks. The toe had to be done. The original feet stink. Plus rhinos have 3 toes

Hoping to do some paint on it Sunday
