Yeah that's how the figures came. I figure it reminds them to move slowly and with purpose.

This is just a simple repaint. I may add some sort of bombs or weaponry but I haven’t figured out what. I’ve also thought of cutting a windshield out of blister plastic

Any suggestions?

Maybe some type of long pipe bazooka projectile launcher on top of the pontoons?

machine guns that shoot through the prop always amazed me so one on each side would look good. a cargo net strung between the pontoons to hold cargo/zombie corpses would be cool.

i watched a few minutes of porco rosso when we stayed with my daughters family, it drove my wife nuts. our son in law loves anime and started it after asking if i ever saw it. i like the looks of the planes and guns a lot.

maybe a lady pilot in 50's looking duds or a launchpad ducktales inspired human.

Great ideas! Right in line with what I was thinking. I was thinking a female pilot but I just made Roxy Rocket in the 50s style garb. So now I'm leaning more towards a dude in overalls or an old bush pilot type.

2Dark, if you're interested I made a video of painting the dog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpZ7gWB50cw

My son has that airplane and I've been waiting for him to "outgrow" it and hand it over to me. It would be perfect for my Don Karnage.

Great paint work!

Thanks all. The plane's paint has some chipping on the wings, especially near the guns (at least I think they are supposed to be gun barrels). I'm thinking of adding extended barrels to those to make them stand out more. I really like the idea of the net and I tried it with a net that I have but it doesn't leave any room underneath, basically if it landed all the stuff would get smashed on the ground. I thought about the nose guns but with the design it just doesn't look right when I mock it up. So far I'm thinking extend the barrels, add a bomb under each wing, add a windshield, and I like the idea of some sort of bazooka on the pontoons.

maybe the net could scoop floaters out of the water :) new job prospect for ex cropduster and stunt pilots in the zompoc economy. the cropduster here is a lunatic, but maybe you need to be. i didn't know those were guns on the wings so some extended barrels will look great.

That plane reminds me of the plane in the Universal Studios Waterworld show. Nicely done.

I agree with lengthening the barrels of the wing guns. Have you considered putting ammo cans on top of the wings over the guns and ammo belts feeding in to them?

A windshield would look good but maybe put a crack or some other damage on it.

This figure came in the collection I bought. It is custom cast in clear. All the major joints were missing pins. I sat down and drilled them and inserted clear styrene rod to hold it together. It doesn’t have the best articulation but it’ll work for sitting on my shelf as a one-of-a-kind He-Halo-Ironman
