Something I’ve been working on. Still a WIP

Thinking it’s gonna be a anything kinda scifi dio space. Could be storage. Could be a cell. Whatever the pics call for.

I’ve been working on this for a long time now.

I still want to add a few more things to it. But I’m totally stumped on a color scheme. Any ideas?

that's the one i thought would work as a perimeter laser fence deployment thing? is that it's function or have you written it a better story?

if it's a fixed planetary thing then yellow and light gray. with lots of weathering,

if some kind of weapon to be deployed i think black or dark green for some camo.

if it is the laser deployment thing you should see if spec would let go of the ring ropes from that motu ring . they looked gitd. if not maybe some fiber optic wire would give a cool laser effect.

I'm going with some sort of communications tower.

I like the yellow and gray with lots of weathering but I hate painting yellow.

I'd just weather it and add an LED in the blue missile on the dish and call it done.

those black hose things in your dio pieces? Where are you getting that from? Its perfect, and I think my space ship and space station sets need them.

That sci-fi scene is so perfect. I love multi-purpose sets like that.

2Dark is correct. It is a wire sheath. It's not this one exactly but it is damn close

These aren’t new for 2021.

We just had a snowstorm so after shoveling I decided to snap a couple quick pics.

Members of the Joe Team Cold Weather Operations checking the perimeter.

Blizzard
Sub-Zero (I realized I never posted pics of him here or entered him in the gallery)
Frostbite

Picked up this figure today

Image

He suffers from tiny head bow legged syndrome. So I immediately swapped the head and legs.

Head is from Beachhead with Marauder mask. Legs are Marauder. I just need to paint the crotch. I’m going back and forth on whether I want to paint the coat to match.

His legs are still scrawny. I figure he’s the dude that skips leg day.
