I haven’t had much time lately but I was able to get my printer doing water slides again and I’ve slapped a few on older customs.

The finish on those look great, can I ask what "paper" you're using and your method? I stopped working with them because the stuff I had went on too thick/glossy.

So I use an HP Envy 7645 laserjet Printer.
The paper is Water Slide Decal Paper I bought on Amazon https://amzn.to/3vtlMPW.
I find the images I want and size them accordingly at 300dpi.
I use Games Workshop Munitorum Varnish https://amzn.to/32URBEP to seal the paper after printing.
Then it's just cut, get wet, and apply.

Thanks! I'd gotten really discouraged with my last few efforts, might be worth taking another crack at them.

You should. It's fun making your own. It's a lot of work finding the right images and sizing them and whatnot, but once I got the hang of it it became much easier.

Did a full repaint on a speeder bike. I was going to do more but decided for this one to keep it as is. I figure they already have a loaded down quad the speeder bike needs to kept light and agile.

I did use it to practice chipping and rust.

Added decals to my containment tubes. I also found another Weapon X harness so I was able to add the controls and tubes to the taller containment tube. I may switch the decals as they are a little cloudy for some reason but for now they work.

Haven’t made any updates to Tinker and the barbarian but I did start bashing together another short character. I’m not sure about the head, I might go larger cause I like the cartoony proportions of the barbarian. Then again I might keep the head and sculpt some hair and a beard. I need to sculpt around the knee are where I added the joints.

i love that speeder bike. that has the right look for sure!

i got my 2 containment chambers like that out the other day, but never made any progress. yours look so good. i like the "frosty" decal on there it looks a little weathered like everything else. it might be coll to do some yellowing on the decal like you see on old plastic.

you can get addicted to the lil guys! i have over 100 rumblers bashed up and ready for ....something lol.....i was going to sell them individual or in packs of 4. now i'm considering selling them all for $100. i keep going into them for heads :) so the line up changes as the months/years tick by.

Thanks, man.

I don't know if I'm addicted to the little figures. It's more I'm really trying to use up the absurd amount of fodder I have while making a few figures for my D&D party ala DrBindy. The Rumbler heads are great. I like the expressions most of them have.

Working on the weathering of the Army Surplus Special

I’m trying not to go too crazy with weathering. I still want to do the seat and the read hub caps. I’ve also been playing around with ammo belts for the lower nose guns.

I like the ornament idea. I have some of those micro guys. I’m gonna check them out.

Here’s what I finished tonight.

The Halfling, Tinker. Known across the lands of Minar for is ability to build just about anything including things that seem from another world, Tinker partakes whatever adventure crosses his path.

(I wish I had a badass setting like DrBindy)

Here he is next to Lemmy, my buddy’s character in our D&D game. Lemmy was my first attempt at making a small character. In the game Lemmy is a Halfling. You can see the big height difference between the two.

Here he is with Lemmy and my character Cyrrus the Wood Elf.

they all look great :) he is like a quarterling. i had to argue with the 8yr old grand when we were trying to watch motu the live action movie that the little inventor guy was not a leprechaun. we didn't make it much farther than that and i could tell she wasn't digging it .so i spared her.
