I just got the freebie Kam sent me today (he says I gave him the idea and wanted to thank me for it; but I don't really remember it as, let's face it, I blather a lot of noise onto the internets, y'know), and this thing does indeed rule the school. It's about 9 inches long by 3 wide (and 30 microns thick, if y'gotta know).

I'm wanting to toss it into the wash with my Underoos to give it the old moldy look of worn-out fabric. Will the ink run if I do so, Kam?

Oh dear, the memory going is the first stage of dementia, you know  We PMed a few times on a collaboration with this.

As for washing, the instructions are here:

Quote:
Washing instructions
What makes the fabric sheets different is that they are pre-treated with a non toxic chemical to help fix the ink
from the inkjet printer. They are washable and can be washed by hand in warm water or a cold cycle with a
small amount of detergent. If washing by hand use normal soap of washing up liquid. This is the ensure you
keep the brightness of the colours. You can dry clean the fabric sheets but there will be some fading with the
cotton but not the Silk. The Fusible cotton fabric sheets are more robust when washing you can put these into a
normal 40 degrees wash but we do advise you put them in a cool wash to maintain the colours.

That is from the instruction sheet that comes with it and on the site. I haven't tried it myself, so I don't know how well it works.

Well, just because we've PMed a bit doesn't mean I remember the initial post. And I'm not old, dammit! Why would I be playing with toys if I were a grown-up?

:rotfl: It was on GTG if memory serves.

As for us all playing with toys, I think it was Tom Baker who said on Doctor Who:

"What is the point of being grown up if you can't act childish?"

Always loved that quote. And of course Spock, from the TOS episode Shore Leave:

"The more advanced the mind, the greater the capacity for the simplicity of play."

my daughter asked me what it was and when i explained it to her and she saw the image she got chills!
