Conquest looks pretty good Cheif...It's rare that I like blue and red together in the same paint scheme...but the speed slop you did turned out to your advantage on this one...I love happy mistakes like that.

Seeing your Airforce...I think you need to ditch the Rattler and invest in a Hurricane....the 'cane is one badass mofo of a plane...smaller than the Raven or Condor but a match to the Conquest or Skystriker...and it's got VTOL it's the perfect Cobra Plane

Thanks Nova -- I actually pulled the Rattler out of the junk bin just for the comparison shot (same with the Firebat) - it was one of those TRU bronze-colored ones that I bought a few years back and painted blue. But now I have no use for it at all. So basically my Cobra air force is the Crimson Chopper and the Conquest. I figure I never play with more than one or two at a time, and I don't have the room to display a whole flightline. However the Hurricane is a pretty sweet plane now that I've looked at it - and if it's comparable in size, then I'd definitely want to pick one up (if I can find one.)

As for the 'speed slop' - that certainly was a fortunate accident. I noticed the blue showing through after putting the first coat of red on and it was hard not to ruin the effect when I was putting on additional coats. Were it not for the new flourescent lights I installed in the garage, I never would have seen it and would have just painted right over it.

The conquest works great as a new ride for WW, chief. I wouldn't have thought to use that vehicle, but the paint really transforms the vehicle and makes a great cobra-ish jet.

Now what new ride are you going to give Ace?
