Love this! I've got a "Yakuza" theme for my Storm Shadow/Red Ninjas/Arashikage clan - my Stormy uses the Marauder white-suited base with the black shirt/red tie (the one in front in your pic). Seeing yours together like that makes me realize I can finally get some use out of all those Mr Negative figs I bought for their suited bodies before Marauder started making theirs. I can get a whole squad together.

I liked the Phoenix Guard when they were introduced, but it was short-lived when it was revealed to be known characters instead of an all new threat. So I rewrote them to fit in my universe.

The Phoenix Guard was incorporated as a replacement for GI Joe by the Jugglers in Washington DC. Two unknown ruthless leaders were chosen. The ambitious daughter of a career bureaucrat, Kharma, was paired with a military general plucked from the ranks, General Philip Rey. Kharma set her goals on proving her leadership by promising to take down Cobra Commander III and the nation of Springfield. Against General Rey's advice she forged a pact with James McCullen and MARS to invade the island nation. Destro used her team as a distraction to achieve his goals and deserted the Phoenix Guard. GI Joe was forced to intervene and she saw her career come to a screeching halt as the Jugglers and her father abandoned her. Sentenced to prison for war crimes, she thought she would never see the light of day, until she was given a second chance by a stranger known only as Widow.


Kharma has began rebuilding the Phoenix Guard, freeing former members and enemies alike. She has sworn revenge on GI Joe and Cobra without remorse.

Here she is with her new military advisor, Gray Fox.


Her savior, Widow, and in the background is Vulcan and Benchpress. Vulcan is the test bed for the Centurion armor system using the stolen designs of SkyLab. Benchpress originally joined GI Joe but could not pass the Greenshirt program.

Sightline, former wetworks operative who could see the end of his career coming.



Frenchie is the demo expert.
Chico is extremely violent and unpleasant to be around.
Strafe is an expert with blades and close quarters combat
Spectre is a silent warrior who specializes in infiltration and sabotage.



General Mayhem, the former IG commanding officer, was left behind with the PG by Destro.
Cobra de Aco was an operative for the Estrela family. He is one of the only to be taken alive and was quickly freed by Kharma in exchange for his service.
Streethawk, former police officer and prison guard who led a double life as a midnight vigilante. He gave up his old life to bring justice around the world with the PG.
Blackout was a Cobra agent with The Immortals that was sacrificed by his teammates during their escape. With nowhere else to go he vows allegiance to the PG.
Dubya was Darklon's right hand man until he wasn't. He comes from an old money family that helps finance the PG.
Agent Orange was one of the first PG recruits and jas remained loyal to Kharma and her cause through everything. A terribly plain person, he can easily go undercover in any organization.

Is Gray Fox's body made of Fortnite parts?

It's also nice to see the ROC Baroness' body made new with a very smart head swap.

Gray Fox is a Fortnite 8 Ball with Fortnite Riptide head.

That ROC Baroness is a great figure but not very good for anything besides standing poses. An easy head swap with a Golden Compass head made her a new character.

The Ninja Force is GI Joe's hostage rescue specialists. They move quickly and silently.

Led by Jinx with the assistance of Nunchuk and T'Jbang, they are joined by three young recruits, Kamakura, the young apprentice of Snake Eyes, Lotus, a young lady who came to find her father Banzai, and Draco, a former member of the Black Dragon street gang.



Arashikage apprentice Yoarashi escaped the Arashikage temple during the takeover by the Reddokuran. He has delivered Storm Shadow's SOS to GI Joe.

Rey as Jinx is perfect. Just perfect.

The International Action Force, IAF, is the team assigned to legitimate operations outside of the US borders and territories. The team was built from the remnants of the Soviet Oktober Guard and the underfunded Action Force in the UK. With GI Joe's support, the team is able to cross diplomatic lines in support of peace.

Big Ben was given command of the team and he is ultimately responsible for recruitment of new members.

Claymore, while an American citizen, is extremely vital in his knowledge of South American politics.
Jammer was one of the top ranking officers with Action Force and has acted as liaison with former members.
Lt. Stone came highly recommended from the British SAS. He and Blades are usually paired in the Hind
Echo also comes to the team from England with Big Ben serving in a mentorship role. Unique talent of picking up on linguistic dialects and accents.
Volga is seen in the background. A late ecruit to the Oktober Guard near the end of the Soviet Union.




Many members of the Oktober Guard are now GI Joe.
Daina, Horrorshow, and Red Star are now loyal Joe's.
Long Shot comes to the team from Mexico. Told by many that he would never make the team, he has solidified his place as a talented sniper.
Blades is an amalgamation of Action Force Blades, Hunter, and Stalker.

The Marauders are the team you never hear about. When successful, governments are overthrown, and regimes change. If they fail, some local band of rebels are held accountable.

Sgt. Slaughter handpicked his team. The veterans are joined by a new recruit. He prefers keeping the team small, but he's always watching for new specialists that may benefit The Marauders.
His old friend Taurus is always near. He serves as the team's point man and camp chief.



Slaughter recruited Rock & Roll from the life of a retired beach bum. There's few things that could drag this old joe from surf, sand, and sun. The promise of unaccountable missions and the steady roar of machine guns are at the top of that list.
Slaughter has a soft spot for Marines, and Gung-Ho has a soft spot for making soft spots with explosives.



Outback is usually the first boots on the ground behind enemy lines. When the rest of the Marauders arrive, he has the land scouted and has started a body count.
Valkyrie was the lone new recruit. That rookie scent has long since passed. She's an equal among the Marauders, so that puts her well above any others in her teammates' eyes.



I loved the Marauders as a kid and wanted a new version of the team. The ARAH versions of these guys got a ton of playtime when I was kid, so lumping them together made sense to me. I based their mission on the MACV-SOG missions of Vietnam. Top secret, self-sufficient, and full denialibility if things go south.
