i'm not sure if i saw all the tmnt guys before. the baxter and rat king? are so unexpected! they all are so much fun. i don't remember the rock guys but only saw the movies and 1-2 seasons of the cartoon. i came super close to picking up the black and white comic 4 pack a couple years ago, i just couldn't pull the trigger since i tell myself i'm not a collector and everything is fodder

Time for a confession. I always like the TMNT cartoon better than GI Joe, but GI Joe was my first favorite. And GI Joe toy design was better but I loved the TMNT characters.
General Traag was created for the original cartoon and he was one of Krang's henchmen IIRC. I had the SHS Thing and thought it would be neat to make a granite or quartz colored stone soldier before I realized they already had Granitar so I just went with that character.
Baxter and Rat King were done during one of the No-Joe challenges we used to have on the board here.
My buddy had Baxter Stockman but I never had one of my own. I made mine strictly from memory of the original cartoon and Playmate design. I did the sculpting at work and I don't have internet access there. The original head is covered in green stuff and bits of other accessories. The bug parts are al from some Star Wars Georgians. He's fully articulated and its one of my favorite customs and some of my first successful green stuff sculpting.

Rat King was one of my favorite figures I had as a kid. Just a really neat look and the characterization was fun. A piece piper of rats and underutilized in the cartoon. It was also one of the easier human characters to make for the challenge and easiest to repurpose for GI Joe.

I also made Mondo Gecko for the challenge as well. Bad call on my part going for one of the later figure color pallette. I keep meaning to repaint like the first version as well as finish his jet powered skateboard.
