the hiss tank is nothing new or remarkable except for the fact that its a repainted target exclusive hiss tank.

the awe striker uses classic hiss tank stickers and krylon satin black paint.

the hiss tank is the target exclusive. the striker was done with krylon navy and hiss tank stickers over a base of stock striker stickers. i replaced the target exclusive hiss tank drivers with troopers since this picture was tanken.

Looking good, my only critique would be that the brown is a bit too dark though.
Other than that, awesome work!

Mod Speak: If you post mulitple customs in the critique section on the same day, we ask that you post them in the same thread so as to not flood the setion with your work so other people can get their work looked at too.

Overall I have to say I like the Tiger Force the best. Not that there is anything wrong with the work you've done on the other sets at all. It is just that those have kind of been over done recently.

Solid work on the spraying...It's always fun to try new color schemes on vehicles...and for $10 (less if you found a clearance) at Target, quality vehicles like the Hiss or AWE striker are hard to pass up.

I'm guessing these are Cobrastickers.com stickers?...I hope for the sake of a SMS set they are...still they look pretty good...

Of all the sets, I think your Tiger Force needs the most work...obviously it's the most difficult so I've got places to nitpick.

Like was said before...that brown isn't quite right...and I think you've got a bit too thick of a stripe of it. also I think your white on the Hiss might be a tadd too much too.

The stickers don't look as great...without doing a custom set of the mouth and eyes I'm sure it's difficult to get a perfect look...There are a couple of the Vintage TF vehciles that I don't think look right...or at least the vehicels I've seen have poorly applied mouth stickers.

tf is obviously the most difficult to pull off and do it well to boot. using spray paint makes it that much more difficult. i got the brown stripe as thin as i could withe the spray paint i had without making it run by getting very close to the surface. the color brown i used was just what i had. i did not go out ot buy paint just for these tf vehicles, if i had, it would have been a coulple shades lighter. i try to keep this stuff as affordable as possible and the most cost effective use of paint. i'm not exactly wealthy and the vehicles alone eat up a good chunk of money. the labor and creativity involved is what i enjoy.

yes, the tf stickers are lacking. it's the best i could do with what i had which was crappy internet copies of various tf sticker sheets printed on avery inkjet labels. as soon as cobrastickers fills out thier line a bit more i'll upgrade to vinyl.

the sms stickers are from jruben. i don't believe cobrastickers has a wide enough selection at this point in their launch or a wide variety of hiss tank stickers. i've conveyed all this to them in support requests, chats and they are working on it.

all of my stickers are either stock, jruben reproductions or home made on avery labels.

i realize none of this is earth shattering custom work. it's just fun work for me and and enjoy creating them. i'm not out to win any awards or such, just wanted to share what i had and hear some others thoughts on them, both good and bad. i know some are going to look and immediately move on just because they look rather subdue or normal.

I'm not sold on the TF vehicles. A bit too dark colored maybe. But I love the Cobra AWEs, specially the black works very well. Looks like you have had fun, and you got some cool vehicles to show for it.

I'd like to see all those dune buggys in a desert rally scene - put up some pin flags and tire walls. Sort of like those Hannah-Barbara cartoons that put all the characters together for cross country races.

(where's the snow and desert versions?)

Great vehicles!
I like the AWE´s best. HISS in Tiger Force is not my thing, but the job is well done.
In my verse, AWE in red doesn´t fit in with the Crimson Guard Theme. Too 'wild' for them I guess. Would be perfect for the Noks though. But, just as the TF Hiss, the vehicle is nicely painted!
I don't see any customs in your profile. If these are your first, that's very impressive!

How about what Cjack said? Are you planning on Hiss's in desert, arctic, Marauder, Destro or forest camo?

i don't know anything about customs in my profile?

i would do more but these target exclusives are now gone and not to be found anymore. i already have stickers for a destro ig version that was going to be black, red and goldish color.

i have an olive green version i did when bored one night. i could easily modify it to be forest camo.

i've done other customs that i've shown here like the custom repaint of fov bradleys and bbi lav, etc.
