I've been working on this figure off and on again for a month or two and just finally finished him.

A work in progress shot so you can see some of the work that went into him...

Awesome work. If Hasbro wanted to release Mindbender that's exactly how it should look like!

Unfortunately I can't stand the character and wouldn't buy him. :-D

Beautiful work all around. Perfect homage to the v1, but i hate that figure. The barechested thing ranks up there with Raptor and Crystal Ball for me(Labcoat bendy is one of the few newsculpts that is my default version). The accessories on the other hand, are AWESOME. I recognize the cryopods, but that brainwave scanner is killer, as are the rest of the accessories and the pics. All in all, great work!

The pods are from the Lost in Space movie line and the brain wave scanner is a Metal Gear Solid torture rack with the pod form a Battlefield Earth learning chair.

I really don't know what to say...seriously. It seems that everything with you Dr. Mindbender is pure beauty. I wish I could steal you patience and talent. The colors and the sculpts are ridiculously beautiful! Perfect! That is production quality

I like that cape. I think it has a nice sculpt to it and have been a fan since it was released. I'm telling you that so when I say that your custom's pure greatness so outshines that cape you'll understand if I suggest finding something better. That's how jaw droppingly good your custom is. It makes a good accessory not as good.

Someone get Lance Sputnik a towel or something.

Wow...great looking custom...That's a TON of work thats going in to him...and it's really paid off well.

I agree with Pluv that the figure outshines the cape...a Custom Cape would really just set this figure up one more notch.

I think you might have gone a little overboard with the mustache...while Bender's stach is large and poofy...it's not THAT large...the way you've got yours going back along the cheek line looks almost more like Gnagahyde's thand Mindbender's.

Only other thing I'd change is to sculpt a bit more on the Cod Peice...just to hide the EE logo..

Your paintwork is always flawless...you need to share what your secrets are.

Holy crap, I never even noticed the EE on the belt, just thought it was an intricate buckle.

I did have another option for the cape, more or a sleeveless jacket look to go with the original cloth cape, but when I saw the card art from the original figure, it was almost identical to the JvC cape. If I do finish the other cape, I will post it.

And I figure the super manly mustache make up for other less than manly features of this figure :brawlin:

Given he hasn't commented yet on how good this custom is, I'd say he was kinda busy right now.
