Finally found a Joe S.R.O. three-pack yesterday and the very first thing I did was snag Grunt's web gear for my own Grunt custom.

Folks who saw this one before recommended I give him a little haircut, so I did that as well.

Then I took the Grunt body from the three-pack and turned him into a new Zap.

I just thought the colors were way too bright/light for Grunt, but they seem to work for this guy.

Then I cannibalized the three-pack Hawk so my Short Fuze could have a similar design aesthetic to Zap but in a different color scheme.

And I gave the head a little haircut like Grunt's to make him seem less like an extra from That 70s Show.

The last thing I used from the three-pack was Hawk's spiffy new full-bird helmet.

And I gave this figure some better hands, letting the Joe C.O. do some angry pointing in the field.

Lastly, since I was already in the mode, I finally did something about the horrible head and inflexible hose on Flash.

The noggin came off the Jedi figure in The Force Unleashed Vader's Secret Apprentice 3-pack, and it took some serious work to make it fit.

So what do y'all think? Worth the time, money and effort?

Can you take a shot of how that harness thing that you made connects up in the back? It looks awesome, and yet I can't figure out how it would work.

These pieces are flawless.

Most of the time, you can tell when a figure is customized, no matter how much someone tries to make them look factory. Your customs are so good that if you displayed them and didn't say anything, nobody would be the wiser.

I especially like the use of Star Wars pieces-- using Hasbro fodder makes your work all the more convincing.

Great job.

all awesome and worth the $$ and mods. I'd like to do the same but I don't know how you make the zap/SH harness.

Thanx, guys, for the kind words.

I'm pretty passionate about the original 13, so I wanted to make sure they all got their due in my collection.

Just for Raps and Tim, here's a shot of the back of the harness I rigged up for Zap and Short Fuze. It is fully removable.

They all look really great. I love what you did with the harness and the improvements to Grunt by using the darker body really works well. I'd say it was definitely worth the money.
Love the harness idea as well. I have to try and figure that out.

Those look spectacular. The Hawk hands are great. I never would have figured out that the belt for Zap was from VvsV Dusty. Awesome thinking.

Teh hair cuts really changed up their looks. Teh darker green gGrunt is a 1000 times better. The lighter green does work better for ZAp. All around solid changes. That webgear is beautiful.
